Yesterday we presented the upcoming collaboration between In4mation and Vans on the Chukka Low ‘Rattles’, the snakeskin covered skate shoe. Well, since the 200 pairs that will drop next Friday, January 13th, will fly off of the shelves in no time, we want to make that you still get your pair and therefore will give away a couple of them.

This time we wanted to try out something else, so we will give away the sneakers via Instagram.

In order to enter the contest you have to follow @in4mationhawaii and @highsnobiety on Instagram. Next you have to post a picture on Instagram of “Why you should win these shoes” and tag the picture with #in4mcontest, @highsnobiety, @in4mationhawaii.

Of all the submissions, winners will be chosen at random. Winners will be announced next Friday, January 13th, 2012.

Today we can give you an exclusive first look at the upcoming collaboration between Vans and In4mation. The Vans Chukka Low ‘Rattles’ come with an all over snakeskin print, which is an interesting contrast on this otherwise classic skate shoe. Nothing distracts from the clean snake upper. Logos and theme of the collaboration are only featured on the in-sole.

Limited to only 200 pairs, the sneaker will release on January 13th, 2012, at the new retail / gallery space by In4mation, called The Human Imagination. Very few pairs will also be going into the official In4mation online store.

During the early 1900’s a large mixture of cultures and races became the first plantation workers imported to Hawaii to work in the hot climate and sugar fields. In4mation teams up with Freewaters for a limited sandal (slipper in Hawaii,) featuring a bottom sole detail that leaves a “Respect Locals” imprint in the sand.

“At In4mation, through our travels and an open mind we want to respect human life and the natural surrounding and environment in the world we all live in and share. At Freewaters, respecting locals means with every pair sold providing clean drinking water for one person for one year.”

The sandal will only be available at In4mation, Hawaii and Aloha Army in Waikiki this Friday, May 20 2011. A solid option for the beach, seen here worn by Miss Hawaii USA.

For Spring/Summer 2010 In4mation once again presents a collaboration with watch maker G-Shock. This season they worked on two watches – the large size GLX-6900 and the Baby G.

“In4mation has taken a new approach with its design and focused its watches for more of a everyday use with subtle battleship grey’s with contrast hints throughout both watches. We decided to utilize the battleship grey colorway so the watch could worn on the daily in all conditions weather it be surfing , skating or just doing your thing .”

The watches will both be released June 2010.
