Isetan, the Japanese department store, opened today the Art Convenience Store, a new temporary section, that presents a special line-up of products by companies such as Visionaire, Nike, Ksubi, Undercover, Visvim and many others. The idea is to present a range of products that are made in collaboration with artists.
Interesting products that you will find in the Isetan Art Convenience Store are a Visionaire x Goyard trunk, that features 50 issues and they are msde to order. Also they will be carrying a special UGG boot collection, with several boots designed by Japanese artists and brands, the Visvim x Mastermind FBT Shaman, special Undercover product, a Hello Kitty Kubrick and more.

The G-Shock 25th anniversary celebrations continue with this Roar x G-Shock collaboration. The Japanese brand created a box set with G-Shock, much like the Mastermind Japan box set that was released a while ago.
The box set consists of the watch, which features the Roar gun logo and backlight. Also it comes with a second pair of straps in leather, featuring the Roar gun logo in metal.
You can purchase the box set now at Head-Porter.org online, otherwise it is an exclusive to Japanese department store Isetan.

A little while ago we reported about the special Dover Street Market pop-up store inside the Isetan Department Store in Tokyo (see here, here). For the occasion Comme des Garcons SHIRT worked with Visvim on the “Marketing Machine” FBT Lhamo and also some special t-shirts were made for the store.

WWF has been working on the “Kiss The Earth” global children’s campaign and got together for the occasion with Isetan department stores from Japan and with Medicom. For the occasion they made a set of Bearbricks, consisting of a white bear and a panda bear. These will be available at Isetan as of April 1rst. Via Openers.

Last week we reported about the Isetan UK Weeks, for which Dover Street Market organized some product, including the “Marketing Machine” Comme des Garcons x Visvim FBT’s. Here comes now another collaboration between the two that is also part of the same project – the Kiefer-Hi Patala “Marketing Machine”.
The Kiefer-Hi Patala features a zipper instead of laces, comes in three colorways and features the “Marketing Machine” all-over print. They will be available soon at Dover Street Market and Dover Street Market inside Isetan. Via Honeyee.

A while ago we reported about the Undercover x Globetrotter collaboration and also about the Undercover x Hello Kitty keychain vinyl toys. Well, now all three of them got into the mix and they created the Undercover x Hello Kitty x Globetrotter luggage.
There are two colorways for the suitcases, which each come in three sizes. These are only available by order and where else but Isetan. Via Openers.

Dr. Romanelli continues with the Surgical Strike theme through out his Spring 2008 collection. They present a strong line-up of jackets and coats this season, just like previously, with a heavy military influence in terms of colors and features.
The new Dr. Romanelli Spring 2008 Surgical Strike collection is now available at Sophnet stores and also Isetan.

Dover Street Market, the Comme des Garcons concept store in London, was invited to offer a selection of products at Isetan, and as part of that selection also a new Comme des Garcons x Visvim collaboration will be offered.
Just before we showed you some FBT’s produced by Visvim, here now the opposite happened, Comme des Garcons Shirt produced for Visvim. They made a longsleeve shirt and a hooded shirt. The longsleeve shirt plays with the panels and used lots of different classic patterns. The hooded shirt is really interesting and is essentially a classic longsleeve shirt with a zipper instead of buttons and a hood.
The Dover Street Market Isetan products will be offered until March 31rst. Via Openers.

This time the two Japanese brands got together to work on the FBT. They made three colorways of it, featuring an all-over print reading “Marketing Machine”. Definitely a refreshing take of the otherwise very simple Visvim shoes and something one would not have expected.

Hiroki Nakamura has posted up some pictures of the new Visvim Fall/Winter 2007 catalogue. Among those images there is also a preview of some upcoming Visvim FBT’s.

This season they will release the FBT Nome which features an upper made up of a mix of elk leather and horse hair. Overall they keep it simple and all white. The Visvim FBT Nome is exclusive to the Visvim F.I.L. stores.

The second FBT that they preview, is an Isetan (Japanese high-end department store) exclusive and feature a mix black elk leather and cow fur (or horse hair colored in a cow pattern).
The iconic Visvim FBT flaps come in the matching fur to the shoes. There is no word on the exact release date, but we’ll keep you posted.
