Today we can preview the upcoming releases of the Converse Japan Collection. Once again they introduce some interesting alternations of Converse classics, also playing with obvious winter themes this month. The Chuck Taylor comes with quilted patterns, nordig sweater patterns, wool tartan patterns and more. The Jack Purcell comes in a mid version and in a low version in several uni-color versions. The One Star also comes out next month, featuring two wool plaid patterns on the upper and nice leather details and linings.

A solid new mid top version of the Converse Jack Purcell has been relaesed. The sneaker comes in two colorways, both featuring waxed leather uppers, protecting the shoe and your feet from the cold and wet. The sneaker is now available from Mita.

Some nice new styles have landed from Converse’s Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The latest releases include a garment dyed Chuck Taylor Hi in Moon Rock (pictured), herringbone Chuck His and Lows, plaid Chuck Lows and a nice deep suede Jack Purcell. All styles featured include the Ox treatment, meaning (primarily) a more comfortable insole than your average All-Star. Now available at The Darkside Initiative.

Japanese brand Victim worked with Converse on the Jack Purcell. The low top trainer comes in a black canvas version with black and white rubber details and contrasting white stitching on the upper. The sneaker is now available from Corner’s Ark.

Once again we present you the latest from Converse Japan. For October 2009 they present a series of new Chuck Taylors, featuring contrasting stitching, gingham uppers, leopard details and graphic uppers. Most variations of the sneaker come in both low top and high top versions. The Jack Purcell comes with checker uppers this month and the Chevron comes with a houndstooth pattern print. An interesting addition this month is the slip-on.

Once again Converse Japan presents a series of interesting new releases for September 2009. The All Star Hi comes in a Messenger Bag inspired version, as well as with wool felt uppers and with a down jacket inspired upper. The Jack Purcell Mid comes with waxed leather uppers. The new fishing boot by Converse is also an interesting alteration of their classics and comes in two colorways next month.

Founder and creative director of Hawaii’s Kicks/Hi, Ian Ginoza, got together with Converse to collaborative on the Jack Purcell Red Ox as part of the 1HUND(Red) Collection. The sneaker comes with a white Epi leathr upper, velcro closure and red accents on the lining and the toe cap.

We especially like the patchwork and check sneakers in the range. Furthermore the Jack Purcell comes in two new leather and two new canvas versions. The ST got the animal pattern treatment this month.

Converse Japan presents their latest releases. The Chuck Taylor comes in lots of new colorways, materials and designs. The selection is large and each style also comes in several colorways. We especially like this month’s Jack Purcell line-up, including simple polka dot looks, as well as nicely worn-in styles, both coming in canvas.

We present you the upcoming releases of Converse Japan. Once again the brand did minimal changes to their classic silhouettes, resulting in some great footwear and once again we regret that these styles will not make it over to us.

Most interesting in this new drop are the All Star Upside-Mono Hi and Lo, featuring Converse branding and toe cap matching the upper color. The result is a very clean looking sneaker in both cases. They come in several fresh colorways. The Jack Purcell also comes in some great colorways, featuring camouflage patterns and exotic leather uppers.
