The earlier announced collaboration between Converse and Bedwin & The Heartbreakers on the Jack Purcell sneaker is about to be released. The low top sneaker comes in a premium black leather version with special Bedwin metal applications and logo tag on the tongue. Look out for a release of the sneaker early January 2011.

Japanese retailer atmos has collaboration with Converse on the Jack Purcell Mid. They gave the sneaker a melton wool upper in grey and a checker pattern lining. The sneaker will release on November 12th.

The Converse Jack Purcell collection celebrates its 75th anniversary in Fall 2010. Referencing the 1930s with updated silhouettes and early 20th century techniques, Converse re-launches the original Johnny shoe (pictured above), as well as offering the standard JP in brogued and garment dyed options. All of the shoes in this collection also include premium linings and comfort foot beds, alongside the iconic smiling toe.

In related news, there will be a Jack Purcell Pop-up Shop at the NYC Saks Fifth Avenue location from September 2 – September 19, 2010. Copies of the “Smile If You’re a Player” photo book shot by Todd Selby will be provided as a gift with purchase. On September 10, 2010 Converse will be hosting a special Jack Purcell photo booth during Fashion Night Out from 7PM – 10PM.

The Converse Jack Purcell makes a strong showing for Fall 2010 with the models showcased here. The JP Racearound High is offered in smooth red leather, while the traditional low cut style is offered in two weathered options with brogue detailing. Now in store at Concepts.

CLOT previews a new collaborative Product (RED) Jack Purcell High. The Converse classic is updated in leather and suede and comes packaged with a pair of red laces. As with all RED projects, a portion of the proceeds will be given away to charity to help fight AID. Look out for a release shortly.

Converse Japan has a lot of releases lined up for January 2010, their first drop for the new year. The Chuck Taylor All Star comes in a variety of new colorways, including some more classic polka dot designs, a pop art inspired series, as well as a more classic pack with brown leather details. The metallic croc pack has a real Christmas look to itself.

The Jack Purcell comes in some classic washed out colorways, in two check colorways and also in an interesting new mid version. Other interesting releases include the Skidgrip, a sneaker that recently emerged again as part of a Huf collaboration.

Some solid new Jack Purcell’s are coming out this month as part of the Converse Japan Collection. The sneaker comes in two nice leather colorways, as well as in the “Dresscode 1/2″ outfit, featuring white leather/black patent leather uppers and wingtip accents.

Converse Japan will be releasing two solid new colorways of the Jack Purcell, as part of the Glen Check Pack. Both come with checker pattern upper, giving them an overall classic look. Look out for a release soon. Via Hynm.

Today we can preview the upcoming releases of the Converse Japan Collection. Once again they introduce some interesting alternations of Converse classics, also playing with obvious winter themes this month. The Chuck Taylor comes with quilted patterns, nordig sweater patterns, wool tartan patterns and more. The Jack Purcell comes in a mid version and in a low version in several uni-color versions. The One Star also comes out next month, featuring two wool plaid patterns on the upper and nice leather details and linings.
