Among the latest releases by Converse are these Jack Purcell Canvas styles. The mix of premium brown leather and beige or respectively khaki canvas makes a perfect match and an overall nice sneaker. It definitely has a more classic look and feel, almost like an upper class sneaker from along time ago.

Celebrating their 100th anniversary, Converse will be releasing 100 sneakers from December ‘07 until March ‘08. Converse Japan has released a website entirely dedicated to the occasion and now displays first products out of the collection. The Chuck Taylor, Jack Purcell, as well as the Chevron and Star sneakers all come in special colorways and materials in this first drop. Via Kix-Files.

The Converse Jack Purcell has celebrated a strong comeback in the last couple of months. Not only have we seen it in many high profile collaborations, also strong in-line models were released.
That seems to continue. Here we give you a little preview of what you can still expect to come out this year. Just like we have seen from other brands, Converse also applies some gold for the Holiday season on their shoes. Pics via Conope.

In Japan the new Converse Jack Purcell X-FakeFur just released. The classic sneaker comes with a brown fur upper, white outer sole and red line on the toe box. All in all a simple, yet not too simple sneaker that is just perfect for the colder weeks lying ahead.

Converse Japan recently released some interesting new shoes. They just dropped the Jack Purcell Fake-Lace Slip-On and the Chuck Taylor AS Layer Hi.
The Chuck Taylor AS Layer Hi basically combines the Chuck Taylor lo with the Chuck Taylor Hi. It is constructed like the Chuck Taylor Lo, but then there is a contrasting white part around the ankles. It comes in two colorways.
Another interesting addition is the Jack Purcell Fake-Lace Slip-On. It looks exactly like a Jack Purcell also with the iconic outer sole and the toe cap, but the laces are only printed onto the upper and in reality it is a slip-on. This one also comes in two colorways.

A while ago we presented you the Bodega x Converse Jack Purcell Mid collaboration that will be dropping this winter season. It mixes brown premium leather with red plaid. Matching that release, the Boston store now got together with New Era to create these red plaid New Era caps. The cap features plaid all over and on the front a rather discrete gold Bodega Tree logo. There is no set release date so far, but you can expect both the sneakers and the cap to drop in November!

Touch Magazine from Hong Kong presents this very interesting fusion of the three most iconic sneakers by Converse – the Jack Purcell, All Star and Weapon. The sneaker has the silhouette mixed of the Jack Purcell and the All Star Hi and adapts some characteristics from the Weapon. At this point we don’t know much more, but will make sure to keep you posted!

Here a look at what Converse will be putting out any day now in Japan. They will release some really nice Chuck Taylor Hi’s, that come featuring both suede and patent leather mixed on the upper. Other Chuck Taylor Hi’s come with some subtle graphics all over. Last but not least they will also release some simple and basic Jack Purcells.

Major DC got in the Converse x Ricky Powell Hemp Chuck Taylor collaboration and along some other interesting Converse models. They also got in the Patent Leather Jack Purcell and the Chuck Taylor Wingtip that has some very interesting features.

Here we give you a first look at the soon to be released Converse x Bodega collaboration. The limited edition Bodega for Converse features distressed leather on a Jack Purcell mid with flannel detailing, bolt eyelets and special packaging.  The shoe will only be available at Bodega with an estimated retail price of $120.
