Mark McNairy has teamed up with Spiewak to create a classic military style jacket. Made out of silk, the streamlined jacket features rugged military details including two front button down flap pockets and a flap pocket on the arm. Made in U.S.A. Available at The Garbstore.

NYC based The Brooklyn Circus worked with classic Italian sportswear label Fila to produce a capsule collection in celebration of the 1st Anniversary of their San Francisco shop. The drop consists of two items: a Fila “Flyboy” Jacket, coming in a laquered black with magenta highlights; and a black Duffle Bag with heavy leather accents, including a prominent Brooklyn Circus “B.” The Brooklyn Circus x Fila collection will be released this Saturday, July 4th at The Brooklyn Circus San Francisco.

Sweden’s Denim Demon takes two avenues of inspiration to arrive at a single point for their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. A passion for authentic workwear and denim is fused with an interest in native “Sami” culture. Key product from the collection includes a denim Kolt, which essentially mixes classic workwear materials with a traditional “Sami” garment. On the denim side, Denim Demon has produced the Ren-on-hide, a 15.5 oz unsanforized denim complete with reindeer hide patch. The jeans are based on a 1930s Lee cut with green, white and blue narrow selvedge. The colors (green, white and blue) follow “Sami” culture and are a constant in the collection. The Kolt and Ren-on-hide denim is complemented by a denim shirt and jacket and a new flannel shirt. Oi Polloi will be among the fine retailers to stock the collection.

To Orist channels the spirit of exploration and tourism for inspiration. It’s the brainchild of Brain Ghatii, whose developed the concept down to luggage style tags and airmail style purchase tags. Imagery on the current garments takes from archeology, apparent in the King Tut graphic, up to space travel. To Orist is available now from Oki-Ni.

Play Cloths officially launched just a few weeks ago. A duo of web-exclusive tees marked the true birth, and December 1 sees a mixtape drop. Beyond, there’s a full holiday line. Once again UK brands Griffin and Berghaus get together and worked on a technical jacket. This time they went with a more colorful look than in previous collaborations, with the base coming in a nice orange. Otherwise the jacket features all the technical details that one could wish for.

Hidden technology is the order with The Epic C-Law Jacket from Addict. Constructed with Epic cotton by Nextec, which is both water and rind repellent and also environmentally conscious, the jacket has a casual cut and feel. The encapsulated fabric technology Nextec utilizes effectively turns materials that are otherwise susceptible to weather impervious. Thus, an un-waxed cotton jacket ready for all action.

It looks like Reebok will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Pump in a big way. Hikmet from Solebox gives us a look at a special varsity jacket that Reebok produced for Solebox for the occasion. Also he hints at the other collaborative partners of this upcoming project and as expected it only includes the creme de la creme of sneaker boutiques from around the globe – Alife, colette, Hanon, Bodega, Kicks/Hi, Patta, Undefeated just to name a few.
