Original Fake hands down does one of the best jobs with coats. Added to the new releases from Visvim that we presented this morning, is this new Windstopper Varsity Flunk jacket by Visvim. They presented last season already a Windstopper varsity jacket. This season it comes without the leather sleeves, and features an all wool upper instead.

We present you some of the more interesting new releases by Phenomenon. The brand has impressed us this season. When previously usually drawing attention to itself with crazy color combinations, they have nicely evolved and while still going for strong colors, they present this season a strong selection of smart cut-and-sew.

Phenomenon got together with fellow Japanese brand Revolver (best known outside of Japan through their various So_Me collaborations) to create a Stadium Jacket. The jacket comes in black/white and grey/green.

After previously presenting the M-65 vs MA-1 jacket and the MA-1 backpacks, Phenomenon continues to explore the MA-1 jacket and this time presents it in the form of a pullover. The MA-1 pullover comes in black and green.

With the official launch of Starter Black Label now begun, it was only a matter of time before high profile collaborative products with the sportswear company followed. Atmos-Tokyo starts the movement with this pinstripe jacket. Bold Atmos branding combines with a classic silhouette and clear baseball influence. A celebration of Atmos’ NY location. The jacket comes in both a navy and black base.

The MA-1 jacket has been a staple in the wardrobe for many years. It usually take a Japanese brand to take a classic military jacket and add some flavor to it. That’s what Rocstar has done. As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection they present the “Color MA-1″ jacket. It comes in blue, red, green and classic black with tonal cuffs. Definitely a nice piece and with some pop.

After their collaboration on a vest, XLarge and Penfield join forces for the second time this season and will soon be releasing the Summit Jacket. Coming as part of the Visvim Autumn/Winter 2008 collection, is the Plateau Traded Jacket. Basically they took a classic denim jacket, added a corduroy collar and a nice wool lining, which results in a different and unique look that actually works.

Yet another delivery of the Deluxe Autumn/Winter 2008 collection has landed in stores. In this small drop you will find a couple of accessories, as well as a nice duffle coat in a series of colorways. As usual the Japanese brand pays a lot of attention to details and presents solid product.

One of the most interesting pieces from the OriginalFake Autumn/Winter 2008 collection has just been released – the Gore Windstopper Hunting Jacket. Inspired by a classic hunting jacket, it comes with all the traditional features with pockets on the front, as well as on the back. Additionally the Gore Windstopper lining will keep you warm this winter. The silk lining features the classic Kaws cross eye pattern. Otherwise branding has been kept to the minimum.

Penfield has built a reputation for making high quality outerwear with fashion, function, practicality and durability in mind. Patta teamed up with the Massachusetts based company to bring you the Patta x Penfield Kasson Parka. Patta has kept the simple and clean aesthetics of the Kasson Parka by applying dark navy wool on the upper, windstopper inner lining in contrasting safety orange and lined the hood with a plaid denim fabric.

Other features on this Kasson Parka include snap over storm flap with inside zip and two lower handwarmer pockets, as well as two chest pockets. Hood cords, velcro cuffs and drawcord waist are all adjustable to the individual user’s taste.

120 pieces total are produced and will retail for 199,95 Euro. The Patta x Penfield Kasson Parka will be available October 25th at selected retailers including Alife Rivington Club, Colette, Hanon Shop and also in the Penfield Online Shop.
