After presenting the Carhartt Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook earlier, we now take a look at the Carhartt Heritage line for the new season. Here we present our two favorite piece from the collection, including the State Coat and the Settler Jacket, both coming in beautiful classic camouflage patterns this season. They come with special Heritage tags and a slightly washed out effect, perfeclty working on the duck canvas used by the brand.

After showing you the tartan check version of the Gore-Tex Campus Jacket by nanamica earlier, we now take a closer look at the Chambray version of the technical layer coat.

We love how nanamica mixes heritage fabrics with innovative materials, resulting in modern city gear, yet with a nice classic look. A removable storm hood, red stitching and other details make the jacket stand out from the crowd.

Although still relatively new and hard to come by, Italian label Ten C has certainly established themselves as one of the best outerwear makers around today. We’ve seen some of their goods at what we believe is the only US carrier of the brand, Union Los Angeles, and were immediately impressed. Anyway, with Pitti Uomo going on, our brothers at Selectism had a chance to check out Ten C’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. From what we see here, new styles and colors have made their way into the range.

In an interesting new project, Acronym designer Errolson Hugh has gotten together with Italian brand Herno. Together they present Herno Laminar, an outerwear collection using Gore-Tex fabrics.

“A capsule collection comprising 8 styles for men and 8 styles for women that perform well at high altitudes but with a decidedly urban look.

16 elements inspired to meet the needs of daily life, from business to leisure, produced using extremely sophisticated techniques such as thermo-ultrasound seams, combined with laminated GORE-TEX®, synonymous of both waterproof and breathing fabrics. This is the new uncompromising Laminar world created by Herno.

Laminar, the name given to the project, refers to the phenomenon that in physics means the “optimization of the flow” – there are no cross currents and the particles flow in a orderly way. This project is the result of two years hard work, not only on the product itself, but also to develop production techniques adapted to the use of such complex materials.”

They call it Sartorial Engineering, which we find a rather good description for the fusion of technical materials and Hugh’s know-how with the history of the Herno brand. Expect a release of the collection later this year.

Another beautiful jacket has released from the nanamica Spring 2012 Collection. The Campus Jacket is made with a cotton Gore-Tex fabric upper with a tartan check all over pattern. Kept in dark tones for the most part, the jacket’s pattern has a few lighter accents. Nice details include leather zipper details, storm hood and cuff buttons. All in all a fantastic technical jacket with style.

There is more Gore-Tex heat coming from A Bathing Ape this season. Today we present the all new Gore-Tex Paclite Mountain Parka. It comes in a light purple and a black colorway, featuring numerous pockets on the outside, some smaller leather details, yet overall is a very clean and easy to wear daily technical jacket.

From its Spring 2012 Collection, A Bathing Ape has released a new Gore-Tex Outdoor Jacket. Featuring their classic camo pattern all-over, the jacket comes with a full Gore-Tex outer layer and is now available from Bape stores.

Union Los Angeles received the first delivery of the new sacai Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. Next to two excellent bomber jackets, they also got in a series of cardigans and t-shirts. The details, colors, patterns and cuts used on the line are beautiful. Since we love the bomber silhouette, these are also our favorite in this delivery.

The first new outerwear pieces from the nanamica Spring 2012 Collection have released this week. The Gore-Tex Soutien Collar Coat returns in new colors. The coat comes with a full Gore-Tex shell, while otherwise sticking to a rather classic design. Next to the regular beige and navy colors, the yellow and checker versions are the most interesting this season. Look out for these nanamica stores and retailers now.

Unionmade continues to impress with their outstanding line-up of collaboration items with Goldenbear. The latest piece to catch our eye is the Jenner Jacket. We love the use of different color leathers and wools on the upper of the jacket, reflected in the cuffs and collar as well. The colors have been chosen so well, that even though there are many different ones on the upper, the overall outcome is still a pretty easy to wear varsity jacket. The jacket is now available online for 375 USD.
