Rockers NYC S/S ‘08 “The Sound & Fury” Preview

10 January 2008, 13.06 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

Rockers NYC S/S 08 Windbreaker
We give you a first look at the upcoming Rockers NYC cut & sew pieces out of their “The Sound & Fury” Spring/Summer 2008 collection.
Since last season the brand has moved their cut & sew production to Japan, which resulted in better quality and much more attention to detail, which was especially for the designs of Rockers NYC a wise move. Slowly as their collections get larger one understands better the direction the brand is taking and that goes in our opinion far beyond streetwear only.
Here we show you the Livesquad windbreaker, mutant rock shirt, evoleyes reversible vest and the dapper dan tuxedo shorts. All the pics after the jump.

Phenomenon ‘08 New Year Items

08 January 2008, 12.52 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

Phenomenon
Phenomenon has also released some new items for ‘08, some to bridge the gap to the spring collections that are soon already hitting stores. The brand continues with their consistent 80’s aesthetic and style. The two pieces that most caught our eyes were this hoodie and the CD bandana. The hoodie features straps just like a curtain. Unlike regular hoodie laces, these go openly around the neck, making sure people see them from all angles. The hoodie comes in several colorways, just like the bandana.
We are not sure how many people will be able to pull the hoodie off, but it’s certainly a look that you do not come across a lot.
More pics after the jump.

The North Face Purple Label Releases

06 January 2008, 17.13 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

The North Face Purple Label
As usual the Japanese market gets something special, also from The North Face with the Purple Label, something that will hopefully soon also be available outside of Japan.
Atmos has received some of the latest pieces by the brand. Some nice new jackets are now available, including a hooded fur bomber jacket, a camouflage outdoor parka, as well as more pieces from the crocodile luggage series, including the messenger bag and backpack in several colorways. Our favorite though is the new striped mountain parka, with a classic grey pinstripe design on the upper and a camouflage lining.
With the mix of innovative materials and good design, The North Face presents great collections under their Purple Label. Usually a little less sporty than in their regular line, taking more inspiration from fashion trends than usually.
Check out all the rest after the jump.

Nike Court Force Setsubun
Once again Nike Japan releases a pack of sneakers, celebrating a Japanese holiday. This time Setsubun is celebrated with a pack of Court Forces.
“In Japan, Setsubun is the day before the beginning of each season. The name literally means “seasonal division”, but usually the term refers to the spring Setsubun, properly called Risshun, celebrated yearly on February 3.” Via Wikipedia.
The pack consists of a Court Force Lo and Court Force Hi. Both feature a wild mix of materials, colors and graphics on the upper. The sneakers will be released January 12th at Atmos. After the jump the Court Force Hi.

Madfoot! January ‘08 Releases

04 January 2008, 16.51 | Posted in Sneakers | No comments »

Madfoot Mad Zone Lo
Japanese sneaker brand Madfoot! has released its first round of sneakers for 2008 at Eproze. Among the releases are the Mad Professor Hi, Mad Zone Hi and the Mad Zone Lo. Both hi-top sneakers heavily feature Jordan inspired colors and materials. The Mad Zone Lo seems a bit overloaded with different materials. Especially the patent leather/snakeskin mix seems to hard and does not come out nicely.
Check out the two hi-tops after the jump.
