Phenomenon, along with YOSHiKO CREATiONS PARiS, has created this extensive jewelry collection for this Holiday 2011 season. The theme is centered around the mythological creature, The Griffin, which was a chimera that was part eagle and part lion. To tie into the theme, the two labels created pieces such as rings featuring wings, as well as bangles, rings and pendants with the Griffin perched and ready to strike. Each piece comes in gold and silver and will be sold at the Contemporary Fix, as well as YOSHiKO CREATiONS PARiS.

Not for the first time Japanese labels Ambush and Mackdaddy have teamed up. For Holiday 2011 the two present new versions of the successful POW collection by Ambush. This time Mackdaddy chose to give the rings and pendants a velour wrapping. Both the rings and pendants come in several colorways and should be coming to stores now.

Tokyo based jewelry brand Ambush, founded by Verbal and Yoon, presents its newest collection. Entitled ‘Screw It’, Ambush presents a collection of jewelry with screw details. The line includes bracelets, necklaces, cufflinks, belts, hats and more. A release of the collection is scheduled for December 2011 in very limited quantities.

Comme des Garcons have made a School-of-Life set of class rings, which ooze baller steez. Three rings have been designed by Rei Kawakabo, as they’re engraved with sayings that like “My Energy Comes From Freedom” and “Live Free, Strong Will. Even if you didn’t make it through graduation, you can get your hands on a champions ring. They come in two sizes for both guys and girls, and will be stocked at the CDG New York store.

After first having worked together on special product for the 7th anniversary of Julius in 2009, you can now look out for more regular collaborative collections by the two. Usually we do not report much (or at all) about women’s jewelry here at Highsnobiety. But we could not pass on showing you the latest ad campaign for the David Webb Fall 2011 Collection, shot by Terry Richardson and styled by Carine Roitfeld, former Vogue France editor in chief.

One might argue that Terry Richardson is all over the place these days, yet we do always appreciate the less serious take of the photographer on fashion and life in general, infusing a more laid back look and style into brands that would otherwise never been on peoples radar.

Toronto, Canada’s HNDSM presents two new pieces of jewelry for summer. Inspired by their appreciation of the simplicity and strength of the letter H, each bracelet is made of solid brass and is hand stamped with the HNDSM namesake. The first takes on the form of a railroad spike, while the second was created with an extended use of the letter H. Both are now available at Old Boys.

New York City based accessory line Adeen has released a new ADN Snapback Cap done in collaboration with NYC based jewelry designer CHRISHABANA. The cap features a black wool blend body with red, blue and green mirrored acrylic letters, stainless steel hardwear and a clear acrylic charm on the back.
