As part of their Winter 2009 Collection, A Bathing Ape has worked with John Smedley on some high end knitwear. The collaboration comprises a crewneck and a v-neck sweater, both coming in grey and in navy, only featuring a subtle Bape logo on the chest. Look out for a release soon.

Once again uniform experiment worked this season with John Smedley on a series of knitwear pieces. The collection spans over v-neck and crewneck pieces, all coming in a large color offering. Dual branding is placed on the inside neck tag and on the back in the form of a print.

Knitwear expert John Smedley has worked with Japanese brand nonnative on a couple of pieces. The capsule collection includes the Knit Button Cardigan and the Knit V-Neck. Both come in several colorways and feature different color elbow patches. Via Honeyee.

Sophnet is celebrating apart of their 10th brand anniversary, the 9th anniversary of their Tokyo flagship store. For the occasion the brand has aligned a very impressive set of collaborations.

Together with Visvim they produced two different Serra Hiker models, one coming with oestrich leather, the other one with calf skin on the upper. Both come in black and brown. Furthermore they produced some nice striped shirts with Visvim, featuring a glued pocket on the chest with waterproof zipper.

Together with John Smedley, Sophnet has produced crewneck and v-neck knitwear in a lot of colors. With F.C.R.B. they made some more knitwear, featuring a rhinestone application on the chest.

The Visvim collaborations are certainly the most impressive ones. All anniversary product will be released November 2nd in Sophnet flagship stores.

The first part of the WTAPS Spring/Summer 2008 collection  has been released at WTAPS retailers, thus we give you a look at some of the more special items this season.
Here above you see the Brain Bucket Helmet. It has been customized by artist NUTS and is exclusively available at Blackflag Tokyo in limited quantities.
They also offer several camouflage pieces this season, including the sleeveless Jungle Shirt and the M-65 jacket. The Sherpa Gore-Tex jacket also comes in camouflage along with a neon pattern running on the sleeves.
An all time favorite by most Japanese brands is John Smedley knitwear, thus you also find a collaboration with the iconic UK knitwear specialist in the new WTAPS collection, the Dalton sweater.

Silas is turning 10 this year. The brand was started in London in 1998 and has since always managed to mix humor and cultural elements with a classic British style. For their 10th anniversary the brand will be releasing special products throughout the entire year.
The first set of products comes in collaboration with Reebok, Wired H and John Smedley. With Reebok the brand worked on two sneakers – the NPC and the Classic Leather. Both come in premium leathers in black. With Wired H the brand created a wristwatch that we already presented to you a little while ago. It is similar to what we have seen previously from Stussy, Honeyee and Visvim with Wired H. Last but not least they collaborated with John Smedley on some quality knitwear for both men and women.
After the jump we present you all these collaborations for their 10th anniversary as well as a special 10th anniversary t-shirt line.

Japanese brand Cycle:CLS got together with UK knitwear experts John Smedley to develop a small collection of hand stitched knitwear. They offer hoodies, crewnecks and also matching pants in the line-up, all coming with thick accent stitching and technical nylon pockets.

The new Head Porter Plus Autumn/Winter 2007 collection starts getting released at Japanese retailers. They continue in the same direction where they left off last season – very simplistic and with concentration on quality and cuts.
In the new collection you find chinos, denim, longsleeve tees in collaboration with Base Control, shirts in collaboration with Fragment design and also the John Smedley collaboration continues throughout the Autumn/Winter Season. Pictures via Figure.
