Converse continues their long-term partnership with designer John Varvatos. For Spring 2012 we present the latest footwear line-up including the Chuck Taylor All Star, Pro Leather, Star Player and Sprint Grip. As usual the sneakers come with premium leather and canvas, all featuring a nice used effect that adds to the signature Varvatos look.

From the Converse by John Varvatos Fall 2011 Collection we have already presented the All Star Double Zip. Here is now a look at the updated JV Pro Leather. The sneaker comes in high top and low top versions, featuring vintage and used leather uppers.

“The JV Pro Leather shoe is offered in worn vintage-inspired colorways for the fall. Heavily burnished wax and oiled suede creates definitive weathered looks, where no two shoes are the same. This updated Pro Leather shoe is marked with the classic Star Chevron logo and is available in mid and oxford.”

From the Converse by John Varvatos Fall 2011 Collection we present the Chuck Taylor All Star Double Zip. Made with rich premium leather, it features a burnished toe and mid sole, with zipper hardware on either side of the cotton laces. The sneaker comes this season in three colorways.

Converse by John Varvatos presents the mid-top suede and leather JV Sprint Grip sneakers. Details include a round toe, contrast eyelets, a pull tab heel and leather cord laces. This clean and simple summer shoe is now available in brown and blue-grey or brown and dark olive at SSENSE.

From the Converse by John Varvatos Fall/Winter 2010 Collection we present the Snakeskin Pack. The pack consists of several Chuck Taylor styles in low, featuring different color snakskin uppers.

“The crazy lace eyelet CT Multi Eye Ox, laceless CT Vintage Slip and more conventional CT Spec Ox have been reworked with some really nice looking snakeskin that has been mildly distressed.”

The sneakers are now available from Limited EDT in Singapor.

The Star Play gets a beautiful treatment as part of the Converse by John Varvatos Collection. Premium leathers are featured on the upper, worn out effects are placed on the mid-sole and toe cap and the lining lining and matching laces make for a nice finish. The sneaker comes in two colorways and is easy to wear.

As part of their on-going collaboration, Converse and John Varvatos present a nice new silhouette – the CVO Wingtip Slip. The low top sneaker comes without laces and has a slightly more pointy toe box than your usual Converse sneaker. The sneaker comes in two canvas/suede versions and is now available here. This metallic silver Chuck Taylor is part of the Converse by John Varvatos Spring 2009 collection. It almost looks like a metal mold actually. Otherwise you get the usual used/vintage effects that John Varvatos has used from the start in his Converse collection. Look out for these to land in stores soon.
