Here’s a one for the Jordan heads. Certainly a “love em or hate em” release, Jordan Brand will retro the AJ III in an all-black “flip” variant, a nod to the 2007 white version – the sneaker that first flipped the elephant print and leather from the upper to the toe and vice versa. Check your local spot in the coming weeks.

Jordan Brand are set to release a AJ Retro V.1 model in September. It’ll come in four tonal colorways of Obsidian/Light Bone, Team Red/White, Cool Grey/Anthracite and Black/Cool Grey, and will built of either a complete suede upper or a mix with leather. All feature a white midsole and the Jump Man motif on the tongue. To finish them off, the classic AJ III cement pattern is seen on the Swoosh and on the sole. Here, you’ll see the iconic Jordan Wings logo, that’s also on the heel.

The Jordan 6 Rings Winterized is back for September 2011 in a clean Khaki/Imperial Blue, Olive Khaki and Marakesh colorway. Having had the opportunity to wear test a pair last year through a Canadian winter (and subsequently having them stolen), we can attest that the Jordan 6 Rings Winterized are more than ready for whatever you’re able throw at them. That is, besides leaving them unattended in the hallway of a sketchy apartment building.

We like these cause they look a bit like Space Jams. They’re also the first performance shoe from Jordan to offer Flywire technology. This black and white colorway will be out on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at select New York City retailers.

May 28, 2011 will see the release of the Air Jordan Retro 12 “Black Patent” Low Quickstrike. “The upper is comprised of predominantly black nubuck while the mudguard gets a patent leather tonal treatment. Subtle varsity red accents are seen on the tongue’s Jumpman as well on the heel tab.” Wish may be your retailer.

Jordan presents the 6-17-23 sneaker in a Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey colorway. The red, clear and speckled grey accents over a mainly black upper make these, by far, our favorite look for this hybrid style to date. Those interested should be prepared for a June 11, 2011 release.

This month, Jordan Brand announced the release of the Jordan Jeter Cut, the 10th signature model for New York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter. Octavio Lubrano, Senior Footwear Designer for Jordan Brand, says of the shoe, “My goal when creating this shoe was to enable Derek to train in a lighter shoe that provided improved natural motion. For us, Derek is the face of training. There’s a reason why he has 10 signature shoes and is still competing on the highest level and it starts with his dedication to training.”

In our opinion, the Jordan Jeter Cut is the strongest Jumpman trainer to date. The White/Pitch Black/Metallic Silver version is available now. A Black/White model arrives in June of 2011, and a Graphite/Stealth hits stores in July 2011.

Today the official Jordan Tokyo 23 website went online. Therefore we can also give you a clean and details look at the Air Jordan 5 Retro that was created for the occasion of the basketball tournament. This marks the first ever Jordan Brand Japan limited edition footwear. The tournament will run for two days, starting May 28th. All info on the tournament can be found here.

As for the sneaker, we all know yellow is not always easy. But we have to admit that we are into this one. Keep the rest of the outfit simple and you certainly have a highlight piece on you. Nevertheless the “Wolf Grey” Air Jordan 5 Retro is certainly the more timeless option.
