Vulture Journal Standard has released two nice brown-based colorways in their interpretation of the Desert Boot. The suede upper features a vulc-style midsole with clean details including leather laces and white stitching. Now available from Journal Standard.

Journal Standard and Danassa team up once again on an impressive pair of deck shoes. As we’ve seen in the past, Danassa presents a solid boat silhouette in a mix of leather and suede, combined with classic deck shoe details and dark colors. This release takes things one step further, not only by taking the hi-cut route, but also by playing with a florally embossed suede. Interesting. Now available from Journal Standard.

Japanese brand Masterpiece got together with retailer Journal Standard to collaborate on a backpack and a waist bag. Both pieces come in a mix of suede and canvas and are available in beige and in navy. As usual we see lots of nice small details and an overall quality range of product from Masterpiece.

Japanese retailer Journal Standard gets together with F-Troupe from the UK to collaborate on a low top boat sneaker. The sneaker comes in overall four colorways. The toe box, laces and the sole come in popping colors, giving the sneaker an overall good balance. So far we do not have a release date for the sneakers, but we will keep you posted.

From the Journal Standard x Danassa collaboration we have seen last year some of the nicest boat shoes. This Spring season they continue to work together and have now released the mid version of the shoe in a series of colors. They offer styles with a white sole and with a gum sole, leather lacing and all around nice attention to detail.

The varsity jacket is definitely one of our favorite pieces in the wardrobe and especially in recent months we have seen some great alterations of the classic, especially out of Japan. Here is another one, coming from Journal Standard.

Their new hooded varsity jacket comes with a premium wool body, leather sleeves and further leather accents on the pockets. The added hood is not only functional, but also looks really good and they even added some characteristics of the classic duffle coat. Works for us!

We already loved the low version of the Journal Standard and Danassa Deck Shoe collaboration and we almost like the mid version more, now that we see it.

The upper comes in premium suede, a gum or white sole, depending on the colorway. You can go for something more classic in the range, such as navy or brown, or something that pops, like the red colorway. We could not think of a more perfect Fall shoe, next to your sneakers.

Overall Journal Standard offers them in seven colorways, so choice should not be an issue.
