From Affa, the collaborative label between Jun Takahashi and Hiroshi Fujiwara, some new Fall/Winter 2009 product has been released. The line-up consists of striped shirts, raglan t-shirts, t-shirts and longsleeves. The t-shirts feature the pattern that Affa is known for and the shirts come with the Affa logo under the chest pocket, another characteristic of the brand. The product is now available in the honeyee.store.

After some initial construction images of the new Nowhere Hong Kong store, the opening date and brand line-up has been announced. The store will carry Undercover, 40% Against Rights, Affa and of course Last Orgy 2, the brand by Nigo from A Bathing Ape and Jun Takahashi from Undercover. The store will open its doors on September 26th.

We get a first still image from the upcoming animation film “GilApple” by Undercover. Of course the animation design comes from non other than Jun Takahashi.

“Jun Takahashi (UNDERCOVER) came up with the concept and story for the animated film, GilApple, along with Katsuhide Morimoto, ENZ and Tetsu Moritela. The animated film stars the GRACEs, the fluffy creatures with luminous eyes that are hand-made by JUN TAKAHASHI. The story is of an imaginary world. mo-c (Silly Things Visuals) and Anatelle art directed the film, music by Kan Takagi.” Via ASVOF

The film will be officially presented at Museum Galliera in Paris on September 26th during a 3 day fashion film festival.

Not long ago we saw the re-introduction of the Nowhere brand, a collaboration between A Bathing Ape’s Nigo and Undercover’s Jun Takahashi. Today we get first word that after Dover Street Market got the first product from the brand, they will actually be opening a Hong Kong flagship store. More on this matter soon!

We get a first look at last nights Pitti Uomo main event – Jun Takahashi showed for the first time one of his collections in Italy. The Japanese designer presents the Undercover Men’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection in the Giardino di Boboli in a beautiful natural setting. The fashion show was followed by a live doll making session by the designer, where he created his infamous Grace character in front of the audience along with a life music performance. The video animations in the show were produced by the Silly Thing Visuals team.

A while ago we reported about the NOWHERE pop-up store, the store that was originally opened by Nigo and Jun Takahashi in the early 90s, inside Dover Street Market. Tomorrow Dover Street Market will be releasing new colorways of the classic Last Orgy Two t-shirts.
