We take a look at the latest products coming from AFFA, a small clothing line, headed by Undercover’s Jun Takahashi and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Over the years AFFA still remains small and it is not easy to find the items, especially overseas. In this new lookbook, the two head honchos model their latest pieces, including t-shirts, pants, a leather biker jacket, a hooded down jacket and more.

After presenting you the ‘Running Monks’ video, which was produced for the new Undercover x Nike Fall/Winter 2011 Gyakusou Collection, we can present today the collection lookbook of the latest running line designed by Jun Takahashi. In the lookbook you see the designer and his GIRA running team explore some of Japan’s most unique treasures, including the Tofuku-ji, a National Treasure of Japan, founded in 1236, and Kozan-ji, which is registered as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also the fine details of the construction and choice of color of the collection are highlighted. Once again an impressive offering, which brings running gear without any doubt to another level.

The collection releases October 15th, 2011, at Firmament and other premium retailers.

Jun Takahashi continues to produce excellent technical running garments together with the Swoosh, featuring his well selected range of muted colors. Undercover designer Jun Takahashi has unveiled two new t-shirt designs on his Honeyee blog. The Basic Tee comes in two styles – Gilapple and Neu Bear – both of which are available in black or white colorways.

Nowhere, the iconic venture by Nigo from Bape and Jun Takahashi from Undercover is turning 18 this year and the for the occasion they will be releasing a t-shirt. The tee comes in black and white, both with clean prints and camo prints. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

The first running collection by Nike and Undercover debuted last season and it was a big success. If you remember, at the time we sat down with designer Jun Takahashi in New York to talk about the partnership.

Not only did the partnership result in a well designed collection, both the choice of color and functionality were really innovative. From what we heard from stores around the globe, the line sold out in no time. Today we can give you a first look at the new Nike Gyakusou Spring 2011 Collection by Undercover. Once again we see that Takahashi used an interesting color palette and the styles are all filled with functionality, always keeping the runner in mind.

Even though the much anticipated Nike Sportswear x Undercover “GYAKUSOU” Collection will only release in December, the Jun Takahashi designed line has already made a first appearance in the latest issue of POP Magazine. The performance driven collection looks very interesting. Previewed in the magazine are some apparel styles, as well as a sneaker – the GYAKUSOU Zoom Spider TT+.

Most of you should have seen by now the Grace creatures by Undercover’s Jun Takahashi. Today we get a look at the Black Grace figures, which have apparently been created for Louis Vuitton. We do not know if there is an upcoming collaboration between Undercover and Vuitton or for what other event the creatures might have been created, but we will definitely keep you posted. Jun Takahashi presents the upcoming Undercover Fall/Winter 2010/11 “Avakareta Life” Collection. The lookbook is beautiful, putting each outfit in a different scenery. The new collection mostly uses beige, mud and brown tones and is overall very easy to wear. Lots of great outerwear is mixed with knitwear and a strong line-up of accessories, making the new line a very round product. Definitely something to look out for.

The other day we gave you a very first look at the two new Undercover perfumes that are about to be released – Holygrace and Holygrapie. Recently the brand hosted a special launch event for their new fragrances at L’Elaireur in Paris and as usual Jun Takahashi found his very own way of presenting the new product. The fragrances were dressed up in fur and Swarovski stones, inspired by his GRACE character. Also they were presented inside cages at the event.

This time they went even further and are livestreaming their perfume launch event and installation, including Jun Takahashi in action, building up things for the installation. Check it out here below.

We get a first look today at the Last Orgy 2 Stadium Jacket. The brand, a collaboration between Undercover’s Jun Takahashi and Bape’s Nigo, is stocked in the Nowhere flagship store in Hong Kong. Look out for a release in the near future in two colorways.

From Affa, the collaborative label between Jun Takahashi and Hiroshi Fujiwara, some new Fall/Winter 2009 product has been released. The line-up consists of striped shirts, raglan t-shirts, t-shirts and longsleeves. The t-shirts feature the pattern that Affa is known for and the shirts come with the Affa logo under the chest pocket, another characteristic of the brand. The product is now available in the honeyee.store.

After some initial construction images of the new Nowhere Hong Kong store, the opening date and brand line-up has been announced. The store will carry Undercover, 40% Against Rights, Affa and of course Last Orgy 2, the brand by Nigo from A Bathing Ape and Jun Takahashi from Undercover. We get a first still image from the upcoming animation film “GilApple” by Undercover. Of course the animation design comes from non other than Jun Takahashi.

“Jun Takahashi (UNDERCOVER) came up with the concept and story for the animated film, GilApple, along with Katsuhide Morimoto, ENZ and Tetsu Moritela. The animated film stars the GRACEs, the fluffy creatures with luminous eyes that are hand-made by JUN TAKAHASHI. The story is of an imaginary world. mo-c (Silly Things Visuals) and Anatelle art directed the film, music by Kan Takagi.” Via ASVOF

The film will be officially presented at Museum Galliera in Paris on September 26th during a 3 day fashion film festival.

We get a first look at last nights Pitti Uomo main event – Jun Takahashi showed for the first time one of his collections in Italy. The Japanese designer presents the Undercover Men’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection in the Giardino di Boboli in a beautiful natural setting. The fashion show was followed by a live doll making session by the designer, where he created his infamous Grace character in front of the audience along with a life music performance. The video animations in the show were produced by the Silly Thing Visuals team.
