While there is certainly a ton of hard-to-pull-off, conceptual work in the world of high-fashion (see The Most Ridiculous Menswear Looks of Fall 2012), there is also plenty of apparel that you can take straight from the runway to the streets. The above looks by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN and T by Alexander Wang are prime examples. We’ve rounded up 10 of our favorite looks of Fall 2012 from the likes of Woolrich Woolen Mills, Dior Homme, Missoni (the Converse!) and many more.

Have a look through the gallery for some great looks. Some take more balls than others to actually wear, and some (such as Thom Browne’s) will need a bit of tailoring, but overall some great kits here.

The Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN line continues to impress. For spring, the outerwear gods shine down on you gingham fiends with a blue and white cotton anorak. Details include mother of pearl buttons, a naval style metal hook closure and a storm flap at the neck. Pricey of course. Good Hood has stock.

Junya Watanabe works over the classic Levi’s Trucker Jacket in black and white stripes for his latest Comme des Garcons MAN collection. Junya simply stays winning, though we’d suggest going tie-less with this one. Now on order at Ark.

Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS MAN presents a 2011 Spring/Summer Lookbook entitled “Blue Lines.” Put together by Japanese publication, SENSE Magazine, the photos showcase a number of seasonal highlights, many of which take on a very French-influenced, nautical aesthetic. Now available at a very few select doors around the world.

The first pieces from the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Man Spring/Summer 2010 Collection have begun to hit select retailers. Stand outs include a collaborative jacket with iconic Scottish outerwear label Mackintosh, paneled button ups (including some with Brooks Brothers), and some double-label Levi’s 505 denim with gingham detailing. As usual, an incredibly impressive line up from one of the best in the game.
