Today we can show you the Junya Watanabe MAN Paris runway show for his Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. We’re big fans of Junya’s attention to detail, playing with textures, colors and patterns in a way no one else can touch. The new collection is no different. Simply stunning overall. UK retailer End have taken delivery of an amazing varsity from Junya Watanabe MAN. “Comme des Garçons designer Junya Watanabe’s AW10 collection combines heritage design with the Watanabe’s unique use of contrasting fabrics. This leather varsity jacket takes this American college classic and adds a quilted camouflage lining, a subtle but well considered variation that works exceptionally well.” The results are beautiful and Vanson Leather construction is always top notch.

Junya Watanabe MAN has collaborated with Gloverall on their classic duffle coat for Fall/Winter 2010. Of course the designer has added some nice details in terms of fabrics, color, lining and more, resulting in a great looking winter jacket. The coat is now available from End.

Italian hat maker Borsalino has not only worked with Italia Independent this season, but also with Junya Watanabe MAN. The camouflage theme that carries through the entire collection for Fall/Winter 2010, is also featured again on the lining of this otherwise clean and classic looking hat.

Union LA is adding a couple of new brands to their tight roster this season, one of them being Junya Watanabe MAN. The collection has always been a favorite of ours, mostly for the little twists and changes on otherwise classic pieces.

The camouflage theme is strong for Fall/Winter 2010, and has been incorporated into knitwear and hoodies, as well as sweaters. The outerwear comes with subtle camouflage details, mostly on the lining. Union also got in two of the collaborative Levi’s denims for the season, as usual featuring patching and stitching details. Furthermore the drop includes belts, a scarf, brogues and more. A beautiful selection by the store, that will for sure find its customer. The line is now available here.

A beautiful M-51 fishtail parka has released from the new Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The parka comes in army green and features some nice leather and plaid patching. The jacket is now available from vendor.

Junya Watanabe has been one of our favorite designers in years now. His mix of traditional workwear and up to date fabrics and colors was always appealing to us. Here we take a first look at the Junya Watanabe MAN Fall 2009 Collection and once again we cannot wait for winter to come.

The hunting theme is apparent and a lot of traditional British jackets also appear in the collection. Of course always with that special Watanabe touch. Overall the line looks really smart and sophisticated, but it seems to be a line that is also easy to wear and to relate to. Images via WWD.

We came across a nice collaboration between eYe Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN and Levi’s, which is being released this season. The two are no strangers to each other and have worked many times together in the past. This time they got together for a messenger bag. The bag comes in a mix of premium brown leathers and of course Levi’s denim. As if there are not already enough nice messenger bags out there, here is another one to consider!

The Comme Des Garcons x Fred Perry collaboration comes to an end this year, but Junya Watanabe carries on to work with Lacoste on their classic polo. As part of the Junya Watanabe MAN Spring/Summer 2008 collection these 4 polo shirts have been released.
The yellow and pink one look very similar to the Lacoste in-line products. More special are the red and blue one, that come with an updated tonal logo.
