Perfectly fitting the Fall/Winter 2009 hunting and fishing inspired collection, Japanese designer Junya Watanabe worked with Pendleton on some shirts for this season. Using similar patching techniques and materials, the shirts turned out very interesting. Leather and corduroy patches are placed on the plaid wool by Pendleton, making each piece stand out of the crowd. These are certainly not your standard plaid shirts, unfortunately you can also expect according pricing.

Some fantastic new releases from the Junya Watanabe Fall/Winter 2009 Collection have been released today. The hunting/workwear inspired collection continues to impress. In this release new down vests have released, along with some very nice jackets and shirts. The vests and jackets come with premium leather details and enforcements, as well as typical outdoor fabrics, including gingham, herringbone and plaid. The new pieces are now available at colette.

Once again Junya Watanabe worked with Baracuta on their classic G4 jacket for Fall/Winter 2009. The zip jacket has adjustable sides and cuffs, a buttoned collar and a vented back area. The waxy blue cotton and nylon mix surface is finished with a soft plaid lining on the inside. The jacket is now available from Tres Bien.

Staying true to the hunting/fishing theme of the Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, Junya Watanabe presents this new quilted nylon jacket. Taking clear inspiration from a classic quilted hunting jacket, the use of materials, as well as colors, gives the jacket a different look and some nice twists. Nice details include the elbow patches and the plaid back. The jacket is now available from Browns.

The long standing collaboration between Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons and Levi’s continues for Fall/Winter 2009. The designer applied lots of leather and plaid patches to the denim, infusing the hunting and fishing theme that we have seen through-out the entire collection, into the classic denim. This season they present a 505 and a 503 model, both available now at Deepinside Inc.

In collaboration with Tricker’s, Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons presents a new low suede shoe as part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Yesterday we showed you the matching boots, here now the low cut version. The shoe is perfect for the colder times this season and the color is well chosen, making it easy to match. From the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Fall/Winter 2009 Collection come these new suede boots. The high boots come in a light beige suede and feature some nice wingtip details on the upper. The new Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Fall/Winter 2009 Collection is entirely inspired by hunting and fishing, thus not an entirely new theme in clothing overall. Yet we have to say that we like the solid pieces of the line a lot and one of our favorite knitwear pieces is this hunting cardigan. It comes with a wool diamond pattern in classic colors and feature suede patches on the elbows and the shoulder, keeping it true to its original use. The cardigan is now available at colette.
