Kangol continues to work with artist D*Face and presents for Holiday 2011 two new hats. The release features two felted wool bowler hats – The Stockton and The City Riot. Both hats come loaded with extra features including D*Face Brain Artwork print on the satin lining, a metal crossed wing pin on the cross piece and a punk style D*Face pin badge. The City Riot comes with a soft cotton print bandana that can be worn as a smile or a frown. Both hats are beautifully presented in a custom matt black hat box and come of course as a limited edition. Look out for a release later this month at Hanon.

New from Patta is a duo of Kangol Mixed Yarn Beanies in blue or red. A perfect choice for the winter. We like the washed out look and the small, yet premium looking embossed leather tags. These are available online now.

Once again Kangol and uniform experiment team up for Fall/Winter 2011. As part of the Japanese brand’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, they produced a classic Beret hat and the iconic Hop Hop classic, the Bermuda. Both come in navy colorways and should be releasing very soon.

Last week Firmament celebrated its 5th anniversary. For the occasion they worked with Kangol on a straw Trilby hat. It comes in a series of colorways and has been customized with a set of pins, including all the supporters of the store during their festivities last week. Each hat comes with the Firmament V and Cross pins as well as pins from Keinemusik, Rekids, Patta, Stone Island, Nike Stadium and AIAIAI.

Furthermore the store produced two anniversary t-shirts, each coming in several colorways.

The hats and the t-shirts are now available online.

Launching Fall/Winter 2011, Kangol has partnered with headphone company AERIAL7 to create an innovative collaboration that actually allows you to listen to your favorite music inside your hat.

AERIAL7 has developed an ultra slim superior quality Sound Disk that is inserted into specially constructed Kangol jacquard earlaps. The Sound Disk system incorporates a microphone, which is compatible with mobile devices such as the iPhone and Blackberry. This allows music fans to hear their favorite songs without dealing with the hassle of earphones.

Patta and longtime collaborator Kangol once again engage in a special headwear project for Spring/Summer 2011, introducing the “Summer of Love” collection. This endeavor utilizes a staple in the range for decades and delivers a set of Kangol’s famed bell shaped Bermuda Casual hats, the original classic sported from the streets to the beach.

The Patta x Kangol Bermuda Casual hats are knitted in Kangol’s proprietary bouclé yarn, treated with special processes before they are blocked. This gives the hat a soft and rich hand-feel for extra wearing comfort. The hats will be available in 3 colors: black, red and beige, all with contrasting top buttons and embroidered Kangol and Patta logos.

The hats will be available May 14th at Patta and selected Kangol premium stockists worldwide.

It has been quite around this collaboration, but now they are back. fragment design and Kangol present for Spring/Summer 2011 the Jungle Hat. The 100% Kowa Japan cotton hats come with a ribbon detail and logo applications on the upper. Two colorways of the hat will be released April 15th at Hanon (storeguide) and other premium boutiques around the globe.

uniform experiment has also collaborted with Kangol as part of their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Together they present new variations of the Pork Pie Hat and the Mau Cap. While the Mau Cap is made of cotton twill, the Pork Pie hat is made of bamboo. Both come in a series of colorways and will release soon.

After a little teaser a few months ago, we can present today the latest collaboration between fragment design and Kangol on the Jacquard Earflap Pull-On Beanies. The beanies come in three designs, ranging from more subtle black/grey versions to more colorful red ones and feature both the fragment and the Kangol logo embroidered on the Earflap. Via honeyee.

The beanies will be released today, December 22nd.

Patta in collaboration with KANGOL® proudly present the Merino Beanie in new colors. The Patta x KANGOL® Merino Beanie is made from the finest and softest natural Merino wool to keep your head comfortably warm and dry.

Details include a cable knit inspired by the heraldic symbol that represents our beloved city of Amsterdam. Available colors are brown and black/blue mixed. The co-branded leather tab seals the deal.
