Here you see some of the latest work by artist Kaws. This time the artist remixed the Smurfs with his signature style, added the bones and the crosses to the iconic characters. Once again some great work, in this case done for none other than Pharrell Williams. Pics via BBC Blog.

Here we present you the latest from Original Fake, probably the hottest piece of the Autumn/Winter 2007 collection – the Chompers Gore-Tex Shell Jacket. The jacket comes in black and features the iconic Kaws Chompers design on the zipper. The Kaws Cross eyes make up the inner lining and also appear on the cuffs. Technical details, such as waterproof zippers, lots of pockets and an adjustable hood round up this perfect A/W piece. The jacket comes in two colorways – with a red/white Chompers design and a green/white Chompers design, both with a black body.

The Chompers design recently appeared on hoodies and now on this Gore-Tex jacket. The design is just perfect, not too loud, but at the same time with some great details. The jacket is now available at Doubledutch and should also be arriving soon at Sold Out, Am Firmament, Hideout, Juice and other international retailers.

Once again the Parisian concept store Colette has something special waiting for you, bringing together some of the most talented artists from around the globe – Domestic Curated.
CURATED BY COLETTE is a collection of vinyls by 10 leading artists and graphic designers. André – aka Mr A -, Claude Closky, So-Me, Work in Progress (Self Service) from Paris, +41 from Switzerland, Greg Foley (Visionaire) and Fabien Baron from New York, KAWS from Brooklyn, Jeremy Scott from Beverly Hills and Nagi Noda from Tokyo. Only 500 copies of each set have been made, and all are exclusive to colette in France.

Benny Gold, the designer of the Benny Gold Collection and most of the Huf projects, got together with Real Skateboards to work with them on their Remix collection. Previous collaborators include Kaws, Gonz and Pushead.

Remix is a re-interpretation of Real’s OG oval logo by various artists. The outcome of this Real x Benny Gold collaboration is of course a skateboard deck and along also clothing, including a New Era, hoodie and more. Just another impressive project by Benny Gold.

Rumors about the Darth Vader Kaws Version have been floating around ever since the last Medicom Exhibition. Here are now first pictures of the toy and at the same time Original Fake also announced that one has to participate in a lottery in order to purchase the toy. First one has to get an Admission Ticket. On the date of release, September 29th, there will be a lottery and then you can only purchase the toy at the Original Fake store in Tokyo. The toy is limited to one per customer.

Original Fake once again released some new items out of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection. The Chomper hoodie is out now and probably one of the most exciting pieces to ever be released. Overall subtle with the iconic Kaws cross eyes embroidered onto the cuffs, on the other hand it features the Kaws Chompers design on the zipper. The hoodie comes in three colorways – black/red, white/green and grey/purple.
Other releases included some new longsleeve t-shirts with designs that you have previously seen on t-shirts as well. Check out all the new releases that just arrived at Juice in Hong Kong after the jump.

Just last week we reported about the Original Fake sunglasses produced by well-known Japanese brand Tsetse. Now Sold Out released a second colorway, grey. The grey transparent frame also looks really nice and the all-over embossed cross graphic by Kaws is a nice touch. The only thing that bothers us about these, is the pricetag of above 500 USD.

Here we report again about the latest releases by Original Fake. Most interesting in this drop are the quilted shirts that come in two colorways. The perfect jacket for the moment, the time between summer and winter. It comes in two grey colorways. Otherwise more t-shirts have been released that all come in terms of style close to the tarot series that we have seen earlier on.

The new Issue of French Jalouse Magazine just released and Kaws was invited to work on the cover photo of Cory Kennedy, taken by photographer Jean Baptiste Mondino. Inside the issue there is a big article on the artist, written by Michael Dupouy of LaMJC/Sold Out.
The funny thing on this get together is, that in the late 90’s Kaws grabbed some Jalouse posters and in his usual manner painted over them to put them back into the bus stands. This time around he officially collaborated with the magazine. Colette also pasted their store facade with some of the posters.

Sold Out now received the new Original Fake Reversible Down Jackets. They come in black and grey and are clean on one side and feature a big design on the other side of the jacket. In terms of look they come close to Moncler and the quality and details are once again stunning. The price point of 270 Euros (like 3 OF t-shirts) does also not seem too crazy.
