This week, we’re able to show you a selection of apparel within the adidas Originals collaboration with Burton, designed by Kazuki Kuraishi, who was previously the mastermind behind the adidas Originals by Originals kzk range. The jacket and vest both combine adidas and Burton DNA with Kazuki’s distinctly Japanese aesthetic. Look for a release shortly.

Launching in October 2011, the second collaboration between adidas Originals and Burton blends 90s snowboarding gear with the aesthetics of both labels. Comprised of 8 footwear and 25 apparel pieces, ranging from base layer t-shirts to flannel shirts and technical winter jackets. Within the new collection are several pieces created by Tokyo design icon Kazuki such as the winterized sneakers, Insulator Vest and Tech Jacket 3L. From the adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Spring/Summer 2011 Collection we present a highlight in collaboration with CLOT from Hong Kong – the Superstar 80s.

The colorway is a flip of the original black model and gives more than a passing nod to another iconic adidas model, the slightly less rigid upper, constructed from a light-weight perforated mesh that allows for maximum breathability only serves to strengthen the comparison along with the money green and gold overtones.

As with anything Kazuki has contributed to the ObyO line, the whole execution is carefully considered, with a wealth of detail that includes kzkLOT co-branding on the tongue alongside the Trefoil and Kazuki’s own ObyO branding, tastefully executed in an embossed gold foil. The gold theme is extended to the outlined 3-Stripes on the upper and tie in nicely with the overall aesthetic and balance of the shell-toed silhouette.

The shoe is available at select locations throughout Asia and exclusively in Europe at the Number6 and Number74 Originals stores in London and Berlin.

Who knew you needed 4 different entities to produce a hoodie? Well, CLOT gets together with Madsaki to present a new version of their Alienegra Parka, and this time also invited Kazuki and Kaws to add their own details to it.

“Bridging together three of the world’s foremost creators, the latest installment of the Aliengera series comes via a grey edition parka. Decked out in a full-print motif, the jacket features the original Alienegra thorn pattern created by world-renowned artist Madsaki. Complimenting his efforts is the scheme application by well-known designer Kazuki Kuraishi, a continued collaborator with the CLOT brand. Furthermore, KAWS brings his own unique spin to the project with a reflective “X” cross treatment, seen throughout the piece. A camouflage mask completes the look along with leather detailing on the pockets and elbow patches, all culminating in collaborative wizardry!”

The parka jacket will be released at Juice stores on March 18th.

Another very clean silhouette has released from the new adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Spring/Summer 2011 Collection.

Every adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Collection includes a couple of technical outer shell jackets. The same is true for the Japanese designer’s new Spring 2011 Collection. Two jackets come as part of the line, one featuring a striped look, the other one featuring a subtle polka dot pattern over the upper. Both look very solid and come in nice Spring colors.

After having presented Jam Home Made collaboration sneakers, the Creeper, the Darwen and the ZXZ “Ian Brown” from the adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, we finish today by showcasing the low top “Flower” leather sneakers. These came out really clean, featuring premium black and white leather uppers with rubber toe cap. A red/green trefoil flower is embroidered on the tongue and the heel. You will find the same graphic on some of the apparel this season.

We take a further look at the soon to release collaboration between Kazuki and Jam Home Made as part of the adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Two very clean low top premium leather sneakers are the outcome of the collaborative work, featuring eye catching leopard accents on the heel, on the otherwise very subtle shoes.

adidas Originals releases as part of the collaborative Kazuki Spring/Summer 2011 Collection the Creeper. The low top sneaker comes in two solid colorways, featuring tartan pattern accents around the ankle and the heel. Look out for these to release in the coming weeks.

Today we can give you a detailed look at the new adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Spring/Summer 2011 Darwen sneaker. Inspired by a recent trip to the UK, Kazuki reworked the iconic ZX 700 running shoe into a high-top boot style in a mix of soft suede, leather and mesh. The look works well. These are is getting into stores around the world this week.
