As part of their new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, CASH CA teams up with Keds on another sneaker. For the second season in a row the two have worked together and this time they present a mid top Espadrille sneaker.

While the upper features clean canvas all over, the mid sole is decorated with the same straw elements as the iconic Espadrille shoe. These will releases mid February 2012.

During this year’s Fashion’s Night Out event Opening Ceremony will be hosting a baseball stall. There, you can pitch to win or purchase the Keds Championship Series for OC baseball sneakers. First produced in the early 1990s, OC has revived the leather Pennant Oxford in three color ways: cream, black and multi-colored red, yellow and blue.

PRO-Keds and Keds gives us an early look at a few styles from their Fall 2011 collection. Several upgrades of their classic low-profile sneakers are seen in premium suede and canvas with leather details and more. We also see some interesting materials on he PRO-Keds side with the Royal Plus in a wrinkled textile with camo lining, alongside nylon, flight jacket inspired sneakers. A high-top fleece collared boot rounds out our preview.

For Fall/Winter 2011, Japanese label CASH CA teams up with Keds on a capsule collection of sneakers. Working with both Liberty of London and British Millerain fabrics, CASH CA mixes canvas and leather with wingtip accents for a solid footwear offering. Each of the Liberty print and British Millerain models come in 3 colorways each and will be available shortly.

CASH CA teams up with Keds on a small capsule collection of sneakers. The brand adds some nice premium looks to the otherwise mostly simple canvas sneakers. Leathers are mixed with canvas, special prints and wingtip accents added and the outcome is a series of solid looking sneakers.(MNN)

Selectism has a fresh look at the forthcoming sneakers from Keds for Steven Alan. “Canvas remains the choice on these lo’s and chukka inspired mids. Leather and work boot laces are choice on these as well. Look for them to drop sometime around June through Steven Alan shops.”

Mark McNairy dug into the Keds archive for his latest collaboration with the footwear label, as seen at Agenda. The classic form is updated with Mark’s signature red brick sole (on two colors) and a heavy canvas upper. Look for these to hit Fall 2011, with inline colors on the same silhouette to release shortly after.

Keds pushes on with their Century Collection, this month paying tribute to the radness of the ’80s. The Mondo sneaker features black or blue ultra-suede uppers with a geometric patterned interior and neon accents. Available exclusively online through Keds.

Working with materials and colors from their Holiday 2010 collection, Gap presents four new collaborative Keds Chukka sneakers. Offered in Black suede, Charcoal Gray Wool, Sand suede, Charcoal Wool, the sneakers will be available exclusively in Gap stores and on Gap.com this month.

The next round of Keds for Opening Ceremony sneakers see the resurrection of the Keds Camp Oxford with some added French “je-ne-sais-quoi.” Designed by artist Richard Saja, the oxfords feature recontextualized French toile prints embellished with clever, playful twists on monochromatic pastoral scenes.

Anyone familiar with “Toile de Jouy” — a print that originated in 1700s France — would most likely associate it with the sweet, girly Marie Antoinette-style decor of grandma’s dining room, but Richard’s reinterpretations subvert the expected daintiness by inserting figures reminiscent of the artist’s childhood doodles: superheroes, monsters, clowns, and mutants. The end result recalls something else along the lines of fabric graffiti, or comic strip tapestry.

Richard Saja’s customized Keds for Opening Ceremony “France Edition” sneakers will debut next week at Fashion’s Night Out.
