Due to popular demand, a third adult sneaker has been added to the Animal Collection x Keep lineup. Originally only offered for kids, Geologist’s grey canvas Ramos features a custom printed shark pattern illustrated by Abby Portner. All profits from this shoe will be donated to the Socorro Island Conservation Fund. Advanced sales come with a bonus cassette featuring previously unreleased music. Now on pre-order here for a March 2011 delivery.

Keep has worked with Animal Collective on a collaborative project for Spring 2011. Each member of the band has designed a sneaker, which will release March 2011. Deakin has worked on the Guerra high top sneaker and Avey Tare has worked on the Spectral slip-on sneaker. The two sneakers are now available for pre-order until October 31st, but will only ship beginning of next year. All proceeds from the sale will go to Socorro Island Conservation Fund.

After coming out earlier with a collaboration on the Benten boat shoe, Keep and Amsterdam boutique Patta seem to have worked once again on a sneaker – this time the mid top Shaheen. It comes in similar colors, featuring a brown upper with beige and orange details. The sneaker will be released on September 19th.

This special makeup of the Keep Company’s Benten shoe is the latest product in Patta 5th anniversary lineup. Keep got together with San Francisco photographer Ray Potes, the backbone of Hamburger Eyes. This shoe presents the first in a three-way project, in which Keep showcases their favorite photographers. The Keep Homer sneaker features a photo of Ray Potes, taken in the Hawaiian jungles and beaches. The shoe comes with three limited edition postcard prints and is now available at Urban Outfitters.

The first styles of the Keep Spring 2009 collection are arriving. The LA brand has nicely established itself over the last couple of years, known for their well designed, well priced canvas sneakers. Since most of their footwear comes in canvas, we definitely prefer to wear them in the summer months.

Here we take a first look at the The Homer, which comes in a striped/checker design, as well as a watermelon design, which we will also see this season from Vans on a pack. The Ramos also comes in a great new Spring colorway, featuring a blue striped upper with red/white checker accents.

Keep has released today their complete Fall 2007 collection in their online store. As usual they present a nice line-up of sneakers. In their latest collection they make heavy use of plaid and corduroy. It is nice seeing brands such as Keep and Creative Recreation carving a part of the market out for themselves and being successful with innovative designs. In both cases also the pricing is very good. Almost the entire new Keep collection is available for below 100 USD.
