We get a first look at some exciting items to release from the Sophnet and uniform experiment Fall/Winter 2011 Collections. Next to some really nice bags, visvim boot collaborations and a collaboration with Carhartt, uniform experiment seems to have worked with the estate of Keith Haring, featuring the late artist’s artwork on shirts and t-shirts.

Joyrich continues to come out with interesting collaborations for Spring/Summer 2011. Today we take a first look at their upcoming work with the Keith Haring Foundation. As part of the capsule collection they present a tote bag, a backpack and sunglasses, all featuring all-over designs by the late artist. Look out for a release soon.

We have seen the art of Keith Haring on lots of product over the years. Next up is a collection with Platex. Known for their plates and especially their trays, you can add some color to your home with the new Keith Haring Collection. Signature art works by the iconic artist have been used for the collection, which is now available from colette (storeguide).

Currently on display at SoHo’s legendary Deitch Projects is Keith Haring’s 70-foot-long mural painted in 1985 for the South of Market Childcare Center (SOMACC) in San Francisco.

“The mural is one of 16 public works painted at hospitals and children’s centers around the world during the artist’s lifetime. Painted in one day, the mural incorporates cartoon characters and animals inspired by the artist’s childhood drawings. When SOMACC lost its lease and moved to a new location in September 2006, the mural was dismantled and is now on view for the first time outside of San Francisco.”

On display at Deitch until February 16th, 2010.

Tommy Hilfiger is pleased to announced the February 2010 exclusive launch of its limited-edition footwear capsule collection, created in collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation and Artestar LLC, at colette in Paris, France. The capsule collection includes sneakers and rainboots for women and children, as well as sneakers for men and features artwork from the late artist. The capsule collection will officially launch in September 2010 in footwear specialty stores as well as select department stores across Europe. Available now at colette.

Tommy Hilfiger worked with the Keith Haring foundation on a capsule collection of mens, womens and children footwear. All shoes feature the iconic art by the late Keith Haring. For the release, Tommy Hilfiger will be launching a pop-up store inside colette. The launch takes place on February 1st 2010. Via Jalouse.

colette takes stock in Ligne Blanche’s latest, which includes a contribution from the veritable Keith Haring (or, his Foundation anyways). “Contemporary art on our table… What a brilliant idea… It is one of Ligne Blanche which since 2006 invite artists to personalize its products. Here we find Keith Haring, famous for his street graffitis, in particular the very colored personage.” Would make a great holiday gift. Runs for €26.00 (approx. $40 USD.)

Honoring World AIDS Day, Keith Haring for Proper Attire Condoms will premiere December 1, 2009 at the exclusive Mondrian in South Beach throughout Art Basel and at the Mondrian in Los Angeles in the new Kiki Di Montparnasse store. The line will also be available online at ProperAttireCondoms.com and haring.com. Proceeds from the sales of Proper Attire Condoms benefit Planned Parenthood.

The Keith Haring Foundation, in cooperation with Deitch Projects and Goldman Properties, has recreated the artist’s famed Houston Street and Bowery mural. Painted in the summer of ‘82, Haring’s original graced the city for just a few months before being painted over. Using extensive photographic documentation, Gothic Scenic is reproducing the mural which is sure to invoke memories for those around the downtown art scene of the early ’80s and invigorate the imaginations of those who will see it with fresh eyes. The grand unveiling of the piece is set for May 4 in honor of Keith’s 50th Birthday. It will stand until New Years Eve.

The Keith Haring Foundation was founded to sustain, expand and protect Keith Haring’s legacy, art and ideals. The foundation supports non-profit groups that work with youth, as well as those that research and assist in aids related issues.

Uniqlo’s UT now launched a new series of Keith Haring collaboration t-shirts. After the Terry Richardson collaboration for the launch of the UT project, Keith Haring is the next artist in line. Some nice design in several colorways.
