Today, Converse announces the launch of the Kicks Hawaii for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoe for Holiday 2011. This limited edition shoe marks Converse’s third collaboration with Kicks Hawaii. This special tiger camouflage version of the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe also marks the boutique’s 10th anniversary.

A recurring motif since the boutique opened, the tiger shark which is native to the waters of the islands, is featured in the store’s logo. For their anniversary collaboration, Kicks Hawaii chose to subtly reference the tiger shark by using a special tiger camouflage pattern to adorn the upper of the shoe.

The shoe’s olive, tan and brown tiger camouflage pattern is pin-point laser-printed on the upper, tongue and toe cap. Keeping the design clean, Kicks Hawaii uses traditional white Chuck Taylor All Star rubber sidewalls, yet with a fresh, subtle pop of orange on the shoe’s outsole, lining and on a triangle of leather gracing the left shoe’s tongue.

The sneakers will be released on October 22nd 2011, at Kicks Hawaii in Honolulu and Guam and St. Alfred in Chicago and will retail for 70 USD.

Kicks Hawaii has released some limited edition t-shirts as part of their Summer 2008 collection. The drop includes two photo print t-shirts and a logo t-shirt in three colorways.

As part of their Spring/Summer ‘08 collection, Kicks Hawaii presents the Koi and Tsunami 5-panel caps. Both come with all-over prints and feature a Kicks Hawaii tag embroidered on the front panel. Via Ian Ginoza.

Once again Sig Zane and Kicks/Hi got together and present this time a black/purple colorway of their “Olako ‘Aka” New Era cap. It features both the Sig Zane and the Kicks/Hi logo embroidered in white on the sides and the cap is now available.

Kicks Hawaii released this weekend their new “The Yuki” military fitted caps. They come in a black and navy blue colorway and feature a Kicks/Hi logo tag on the side.

The Nike Dunk Be True website has been updated and now features two new chronicles – one on Futura and one on Kicks Hawaii and their involvement and contribution to the history of the Dunk. Make sure to check it out here!

Kicks Hawaii once again got together with classic tropical clothing brand Sig Zane to collaborate on some New Era caps. The caps of course feature the same floral upper that we also saw on previous collaborations. This time they present two New Era caps in black/blue and black/green. The design also runs under the brim, and on the satin lining of the cap. Both the Sig Zane logo and the Kicks Hawaii logo are on the caps.

The people behind Kicks/Hi recently launched a new BMX inspired brand – Black Lightning. Their first collection, the Fall/Winter 2007 collection, has just arrived. It consists of t-shirts and New Era caps. Especially the word “lightning” has been taken quite literally and appears on almost every t-shirt and the caps. Nevertheless the graphics are strong and also details such as 3M prints have been used.

Just a week ago we presented you the latest Kicks/Hi x New Era caps and today we can already preview their next round of caps. This time they created the “Picnic Plaid” New Eras, featuring a more colorful plaid on the caps. There are three colorways, all featuring the classic “KH” logo 3D embroidery on the front. The caps will be released on the 29th of September, this coming Saturday at Kicks Hawaii.

Here you see the latest New Era caps by Kicks/Hi. They feature a classic Kicks/Hi “KH” logo on the front panels and are covered with athletic mesh material on the four backpanels. Definitely gives them an interesting and more sporty look. There are three colorways – navy/red, black/white and green/black. All available now at Kick/Hi.
