highsnobiety - Kilo Goods Spring 2009 Collection Preview

Kilo is a contemporary sportswear label with a focus on illustrating a “New-Americana”. Forward in concept and execution, Kilo draws inspiration from the vibrant Miami attitude to the sleek construction of the art deco Manhattan skyline. With a fine attention to detail they blend luxury, sport, pop and politics to convey their message.
There is no doubt, that Kilo Goods has been setting itself apart from the rest of the industry right from the start in terms of styles and colors, something we appreciate very much. Their Spring 2009 collection is probably the most subtle one that we have seen to date, nevertheless you still do find the crazy colors and shapes, just a little more hidden than usual. Nice cut & sew pieces, as well as strong t-shirts make up the new collection, which will be presented for the first time next week, at the S.L.A.T.E. tradeshow in Las Vegas.
Have a closer look at the new Kilo Goods Spring 2009 collection after the jump.

Kilo Goods Fall ‘07 Collection Preview

RTEmagicC kilo fall07 2.jpg Kilo Goods Fall 07 Collection Preview
The much anticipated KILO GOODS Fall/Holiday collection is now showing in monochrome and full color. This season is a cinematic head trip of pop iconography from begining to end. The story is of seduction, addiction and style throughout the galaxy. Mood and memory; abstract from front to back.
The infamous Kilo Cut-Up Hoody is back!!! This season’s monochrome and color version is in a heavier 320 gram french terry with polka dot print. The Rubix Jacket displays complicated patchwork construction with a quilted nylon shell. The Rubix jacket’s neon interior is the hidden show stopper. Closing out this group is the abstract Canvas Galaxy Hooded Jacket in “deep space” and “blue sunset” colorways.
This season’s tees delve into the moods associated with sex, drugs and film. The panel-pieced Blue Haze Tee has a laid back jazz feel on a smokey night. The Sex City Tee is a look back on the morning after an unforgettable night…with sharon stone starring in her unforgettable breakout role. The Fade Tee is a first in the market using a d unique double dip dye method.  The Yacht Club dip dye is a futuristic spin on a classic style.
Kilo Goods is one of the strongest newcomers and continues to impress. Their cut & sew mostly comes without graphics and just plays with colors, cuts and a lot of times with panels – the outcome is something so distinctive that Kilo sets itself strongly apart from everything else that is out there. Their collections just pop and attract. Should you be in Vegas next week, check them out at Fosho Foshow.

Check out the new Fall 2007 collection after the jump with detailed shots of all new pieces to come to stores in September.
