In 2001 DJ Joakim created Tigersushi Records and quickly became a force in French underground electro and pop music. As we all know, times are hard for record companies and they start looking at alternative revenue streams. Clothing is a close subject to music and an obvious move for many out there. Tigersushi has launched their first collection, consisting of some knitwear and some t-shirts, including a collaboration with French graffiti artist Fafi.

Once again Deluxe has released new items from their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The drop includes chinos, technical shell jackets, denim jackets, knitwear and some hats. The new product is now available at Bridge.

Haversack is the creation of Japanese designer Koji Norihide and was founded in Japan in 1998. Haversack is readily available in Japan, and has a flagship store in Tokyo but is currently only stocked in a handful of places in Europe.

The name Haversack is taken from the bag used by the American army made of linen and wool as a substitute for leather. It was recognized for its strength and durability. The concept of the label is to be a contemporary collection which
places great emphasis on detail that always works back to the military themes at its heart.

The main Haversack collection is based on old patterns and blocks of hunting, shooting and military uniforms whilst Haversack General Garments are pieces heavily inspired by French workwear and nautical uniforms of the 30s and 40s.

Finally, new for this season is the Haversack Attire collection. With a more directional feel, these pieces are recognizable for their clean silhouette and hand finish.

Online the collection is now exclusively available from Oki-Ni.

Some new product from the Original Fake Spring/Summer 2009 Collection has been released. The drop included two new check button-down shirts, the “HK Chum” and the “Permanent Love” t-shirts, as well as first knitwear pieces from the new collection. They offer a both a knit sweater and and vest with a very subtle Kaws cross eye pattern around the neck.

The new pieces from the Original Fake Spring/Summer 2009 Collection are now available at L’Intrus.

We have already presented you most of the holiday items by Comme Des Garcons. Here comes now the last piece of the puzzle. They also worked with outstanding knitwear brand The Inoue Brothers on a limited edition knitwear collection. The line consists of beanies, scarfs and sweaters, each coming in two colorways. The scarfs and beanies also feature the CDG letters in Swarovski stones.

Here comes a first look at the Spring/Summer 2009 collection of Folk. The label has nicely developed and certainly found their own look in recent seasons. The new collection offers a great selection of shirts and especially knitwear, unseen like this from other brands out there.

The Folk Spring/Summer 2009 collection will only be released in March, but Oki-Ni put up a secret pre-order page that you can access here.

We present you another special Christmas item from Comme Des Garcons. They got together with Pringle from Scotland, known for their outstanding knitwear, and worked on a cardigan. Coming with a classic diamond pattern, they added the British flag in Swarovski stone on the chest. Via Selectism.

After showing you these past days the new Comme Des Garcons silver embossed wallets and the Jamie Reid t-shirt series, there is some more interesting product newly available at Dover Street Market. Classic English knitwear maker Lyle & Scott dug deep into their archive to release some of their vintage styles. These are now exclusively available at London’s Dover Street Market.

Levi’s Fenom has once again released some new items out of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. This drop includes fur lined cord jackets, belts, as well as some new knitwear. Overall the pieces are solid and come with only subtle branding.

Bounty Hunter has released some great new items as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Part of the release is some new knitwear and lots of great outerwear. But also accessories come in this release. A fur lined cap is in the mix as well as an entire range of Porter collaboration items.
