The Fall/Holiday ‘07/08 cut & sew pieces of the Corefighter collection have finally arrived at Fast Eddie’s Garage. Solid pieces, especially in terms of outer- and knitwear. Since they come in very limited quantities, you should make your way over their quickly if interested.

Here comes one of the best releases by Original Fake this season. No bright colors, no characters or Kaws signature graphics (even though we do love that too), just plain and solid pieces. In collaboration with Nexus VII they created some heavy weight cable knitwear. Overall they present two pieces – one hoodie and one cardigan with chest pockets. The hoodie comes in a creme colorway, the other piece in black. Both come with a thick Original Fake leather tag, the kind that usually only come on denim.

Mishka is one of those brands that has strongly evolved in the past couple of years and went from a t-shirt brand to a brand with a full collection. Especially this year they made some big steps. Also the brand has its very own direction and brand image, which is reflected in every piece they present. It can the the graphics or simply specific colors, that one clearly associates with them.
The Mishka Holiday 2007 collection is right now being shipped to accounts around the globe. It consists of t-shirts, denim, hoodies, crewneck sweaters, as well as jackets, knitwear and caps. You will find both loud all-over print graphics as well as subtle basics in the collection, which overall has a good balance.

Atelier La Durance is one of those special labels, that keeps their collection very small and sticks to the basics. Also they only make products, where they can be sure they are of the best quality and it would be impossible to make it better. At the same time they only create timeless pieces, that once they entered the collection come back every season. This perfectionism is something we admire about the brand.
Specialized in denim, the brand has also launched a nice knitwear collection and now added a cardigan to it. Made from a cashmere, angora & lambswool mix it features a classic straight cut with a slightly oversized button fastening. It has a ribbed cuff and hem finish and two patch pockets. Using the longer fibers, the tight knit retains its proper shape and softness. The Atelier LaDurance embroidered logo comes in a subtle blue on the chest with a side seam label.
The cardigan is now available in navy blue and grey at Oki-Ni.

Visvim has released some interesting new products as part of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection. They came out with some new army inspired knitwear. Military green and navy blue sweaters come with shoulder and elbow patches as well as pockets. They also bring back their classic fleece hoody in several colorways. The highlight in this drop are the new Visvim gloves. The Alpaca knit gloves come in black, brown and light grey and feature elk skin leather patches on the areas that are mostly used. If you are still in the need for some gloves, this is as good as it gets. Pics via Figure.

The next round of Head Porter Fall/Winter 2007 releases has gotten into stores. They released some great knitwear, both crewneck and hooded sweaters. Both pieces come in white, blue and black. If you need something to go on top of your plaid shirts, these are perfect. Head Porter Plus knitwear is always of superior quality!
Also they released some down jackets and vests. The red down jacket is very similar to the red iDiom down jacket this season. You have to choose. The vest comes in grey and is very simple, nothing really special. Pics via Figure.

Japanese brand Sophnet has released some nice knitwear as part of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection. Among the releases was a cardigan, v-neck and crewneck sweater. Each piece comes in several colorways. Once again the brand shows their strive for perfection and did a good job sourcing only the best materials, the 50% cashmere 50% cotton knitwear collection only uses the best Italian cotton, Cariaggi Narciso.

The Stussy Deluxe collection was only introduced a little while ago, and while applying the Stussy aesthetics, the line offers more high-end materials as well as fits. Driven by a rising of the bar, best exemplified by Japanese streetwear brands that have long offered high end takes on street classics, the Stussy Deluxe collection has a quiet subtlety and wide reaching appeal. It is the perfect collection for the more grown-up Stussy customer. First pieces of the new collection have landed in stores, thus we can show some of them now.
The Stussy Deluxe Fall 2007 collection offers a very nice range of shirts, mostly with patterns, plaid or polka dots. In terms of cut they are more fitted than other Stussy collections and we especially like the branding or actually the little branding. On Stussy Deluxe shirts you will only find a small purple dot under the neck in the  back. Definitely a nice touch. The Fred Perry classics remixed  by Comme des Garcons have become a favorite to many out there, giving an all-time classic a bit of a flip and something more exciting. Here we give you a first look at some pieces of the new Fred Perry x Comme des Garcons Fall/Winter 2007 collection. The collection is split into three categories – bright colored polos, knitwear & outerwear and accessories. Colors this season stay in the grey, electric blue and the lime colors.
The striped designs have been used a lot by the Japanese brands that we report about on a regular. The striped design has been part of the Fred Perry collection since years. As usual Comme des Garcons finds a way of flipping it and introduces this season an un-even striped design on Fred Perry polos, knitwear and also as the inner lining of Fred Perry jackets. This season the two do also not stick to clothing only and get together for some footwear. Sneakers with a woven chequerboard design are in the new collection.

The Mishka Fall 2007 collection is getting into stores and Essence is among the first to carry it. Out of the entire collection the stand-out pieces are probably the luggage collection and the knitwear, so we will concentrate on presenting that.

In terms of luggage Mishka has a backpack, travel bag and a series of wallets in their new collection. They all come with nice technical features and in several colorways.

The knitwear line also came out really great with good designs, nice colors and top quality as well. Mishka is one of the first to bring a good selection of knitwear in this market and it looks promising.
