Shot in Hollywood, the Nike KobeSystem “Success for the Successful” commercial spot was directed by Jody Hill. Known for his role as co-creator and executive producer of the series Eastbound & Down, Hill has directed, produced and acted in a variety of features films. The campaign was produced by Wieden + Kennedy of Portland, Ore.

The other day we showed you the super limited Nike SB Kobe Bryant x Koston 1 sneaker, coming in an edition of only 24. It looks like there will actually be a more widely available version of the sneaker. The sneaker comes with the same colors on the upper, yet the upper comes with an embossed pattern, rather than the more complicated Kobe VI upper styling.

Today Nike SB has announced the official collaboration between Eric Koston and Kobe Bryant on the first signature pro-model to come from Nike SB for Koston – the Eric Koston 1.

Nike Sportswear presents for Spring/Summer 2011 yet another colorway of the Air Force 1 Foamposite. The “Eggplant” version comes as a collaboration with none other than Kobe Bryant, whose logo is featured on the tongue. Another nice detail is the added 3M reflective strap. The sneakers will release around the globe from February 1st.
