Koi Club and Asics always cook up something special, usually in the form or linked to sneakers of course. We have seen the set as well last week and thanks to Jeff Staple we can show it to you as well now – the Koi Club x Asics Collectors Box.  The box comes with overall 4 sculptures and shows the transformation of the fish into the sneaker. Rumors are the box goes for around 1′000 Euros.

Onitsuka Tiger gets together for the second time with Koi Club. This time they worked on the Fabre and made the Fabre Big Koi in three colorways – black, gray and red. The upper of the sneaker is made of premium leather, wool and chenille. With the “02″ patch on the back heel, standing for the second collaboration of the two, they gave the sneakers a college jacket look. The sneaker comes with a box set, which consists of two patches that can be attached via velcro to the back heel of each sneaker, a CD mix by Koi Club and laces, which also come with a custom design.
All in all a very well executed collaboration that looks very solid and is exciting while still wearable, which is not always the case these days. We told you before that Onitsuka Tiger and Asics are definitely coming back strong in the near future and this is just one more proof for it. Pics via DRTM Clothing.
