Supply Summer 2009 Collection

Supply Summer 2009 Collection
The summer delivery from Sydney, Australia based retailer come brand Supply has arrived at Haven. “We here personally love the genuine gritty skate and metal imagery used by Supply. This drop is highlighted by the excellent collaboration with New York based artist Kostas Seremetis who has worked along the likes of Surrender, Neighborhood and W)taps. Also arriving are the Check Single Pocket Shirts that are offered in some nice refreshing colors. Supply also has one of the best headwear programs offering a variety of different styles.” We couldn’t agree more. The new collection also includes artwork from Ben Drury. Available now at Haven.

Ricky Powell Interviews Kostas Seremetis

16 March 2009, 20.47 | Posted in Art | No comments »

Another interesting episode comes from Upper Playground’s Walrus TV. This week photographer Ricky Powell interviewed painter Kostas Seremetis. Kostas discusses how he got his start initially as an animator and was rejected from all of the art schools that he applied to – but that didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream and becoming a successful painter.  Seremetis discusses the importance of painting what he loves  – and that includes super heroes, comic books, sci-fi movies and samurai movies.  The interview is inspirational, gives you a great glimpse into Kostas’ studio and what inspires each piece.
