Sometimes we ask ourselves what takes so long in making a 1000% version of a figure happen, especially when the 100% and 400% versions have already been out in the market place. The other day we gave you an exclusive first look at the Daft Punk x Silly Thing 1000% Kubricks by Medicom. Today we get a detailed look from TK at the heads of the two figures and that makes you understand how much detail and precision work is needed in order to blow up the figures into this new gigantic size properly. The amount of details are very impressive.

After previously working with Medicom on the Beatles 1000% Kubrick Set, Silly Thing has now gotten together with Medicom again and with Daft Punk. Together they created the 1000% Daft Punk Kubrick Set. The set was already a huge hit when releasing in the 400% size, we do not even want to know how quick these will sell out. We get a first look at the latest work from Parisian artist André and Japan’s Medicom Toy. Once again they worked on some Kubricks, this time consisting of a set of Kubricks of his iconic Monsieur A character. The Kubricks will be coming both in 100% and 400% sizes, each in two colorways, later this year. Take a full look at the André x Medicom Toy Kubrick Set after the jump.

The much anticipated release of director Spike Jonze’s live-action adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book, Where The Wild Things Are, is just around the corner. To commemorate the movie, Medicom Toy will be releasing the “Where The Wild Things Are” Kubrick set, featuring overall 6 characters from the movie. Due to come out in October 2009, the Kubrick Set can already be pre-ordered at many toy stores around the globe.

We have shown you pictures of the new Medicom x Silly Thing The Beatles “Can’t Buy Me Love” 1000% Kubrick Set a while ago. Now they have finally released them. A special order page has been created. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Japanese superhero series Ultraseven, G-Shock came out with a special collaboration box set with Medicom. The box set consists of a G-Shock DW-6900, which of course comes in all red. Furthermore the box also comes with 3 Kubricks, 3 characters from the series.
