To celebrate La MJC’s 10th birthday, the Parisian collective joined forces with their Danish friends at Norse Projects create a special version of the infamous Elka raincoat. Totally waterproof and breathable, the jacket pays homage to the blue, red and white colors of the French flag and features four front pockets, a drawcord hood, breathable lining and adjustable cuffs. The jacket is a limited edition of 50 pieces, exclusive to Cool Cats, Norse Projects and colette.

Paris creative agency La MJC and colette got together with New Balance to create the “Vivre Sans Temps Mort” 1500 sneaker. The slogan used for the sneaker is one of the core slogans of the agency since the very beginning and describes a state of mind that is restless. The upper of the sneaker comes in a nice red/white/grey combination, using lots of premium leathers and mesh. Produced in the Flimby factory in the UK, the sneakers will be released at colette and in the Cool Cats online store December 18th.

It’s been quite some time, with the first pair appearing in 2006 and the second in 2007, but today we can preview the third installment in La MJC and colette’s New Balance 1500 series. This time the classic running shoe is done in varsity red suede with grey accents and a touch of premium leather on the heel collar. The insoles feature the famous La MJC motto “Vivre Sans Temps Mort”. These “made in England” sneakers will only available at colette and Cool Cats from mid-November.

Lacoste collaborates with La MJC on their beloved Broadwick. Though the name of the sneaker is inspired by a street in London, the MJC version pays tribute to Paris’ legendary elegance. Constructed entirely of seersucker, the shoe is adorned with the crest of the capital and the motto “Fluctuat nee Mergitur” (it floats but does not sink). The shoe also features a full leather insole. Produced in a limited run of 75, the sneakers will be available at colette on July 3rd and at Solemart, Paris on July 4th.

Today we can give you a first detailed look at the latest collaboration of Parisian creative agency La MJC. They once again worked with Sebago, but this time on a less frequented style – the Fairhaven, a shoe which was first released in 1980. The low cut shoe comes in a premium black leather colorway with white outer sole and an embossed La MJC graphic logo. The contrasting white stitching is a nice detail, along with the white leather patch on the heel. It will be released today at colette and also in the Cool Cats online store.
