Tim Hamilton x Lacoste

New York-based designer Tim Hamilton debuted his contribution to the forthcoming Lacoste Legends project during New York Fashion week. “The designer picked the original René Lacoste silhouette, introduced by the brand’s founder in 1963 as his creative muse. Hamilton added a black over-dye finish and a high top to the traditional style, to create a sneaker meets military shoe.” Stay with us for more from the Lacoste Legends project, which features 12 different shoes from 12 creatives. The project hit retail on December 12, 2010.

Lacoste Porcelain Polo Shirts by Li Xiaofeng

Lacoste Porcelain Polo Shirts by Li Xiaofeng
Lacoste invited Chinese porcelain artist Li Xiaofeng to create two different polos for their Holiday 2010 Collector’s Series. The first is a printed polo, created from photographs of blue and white porcelain shards with lotus and children designs from the Kangxi Period (1662 – 1772 AD) of the Qing Dynasty. The printed polo is limited to 20,000 pieces for both men and women and comes packaged in a silk pouch stamped with a red seal logo. The second, is an actual porcelain polo inspired by the early Ming Dynasty (1368 -1644 AD). The most expensive and most exclusive Lacoste polo to date, the piece took Xiaofeng three full months to paint, fire, fragment, shape, polish, and finally link together. The porcelain shirts are currently on display in France at the Musée des Arts et Métiers and will then head to Bejing in the Fall at Li Xiaofeng’s first one-man at the Red Gate Gallery.

Lacoste Broadwick x La MJC

Lacoste collaborates with La MJC on their beloved Broadwick. Though the name of the sneaker is inspired by a street in London, the MJC version pays tribute to Paris’ legendary elegance. Constructed entirely of seersucker, the shoe is adorned with the crest of the capital and the motto “Fluctuat nee Mergitur” (it floats but does not sink). The shoe also features a full leather insole. Produced in a limited run of 75, the sneakers will be available at colette on July 3rd and at Solemart, Paris on July 4th.

Nash Money x Lacoste Bravington

Nash Money x Lacoste Bravington

UK designer Nash Money is up to his next sneaker project. After having worked with DC Shoes previously, he now got together with Lacoste on the mid top Bravington model.

“Nash was inspired by the suave and sophisticated heritage of Lacoste and wanted to create something that stayed faithful to this design ethos of the brand. The result is an unmistakably Lacoste shoe that is imbued with Nash identity. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s heritage in yachting, this all-new high-top blends classic Lacoste characteristics with signature Nash design elements including a moccasin cross stitch, hidden laces and fat perforations in the leather.

Premium materials have been utilized on the uppers which merge panels of nubuck, suede, mesh and full-grain leather. Nash’s signature is embossed in the suede panels at the top of the laces. A clean overall effect has been created, yet with attention to detail that makes it a truly luxurious sneaker. White and blue versions launch in July, with two more designs to be unveiled in November.”

The first two sneakers from the collaboration will drop in July, with two more to follow later this year.

Check out the blue colorway of the sneaker after the jump.
