Guy Mariano’s high cut Lakai pro model receives the Fourstar (Guy’s clothing company that he co-owns with Eric Koston) treatment with a red suede upper and a mix of grey, black and patterned red leather highlights. The tongue is emblazoned with the iconic Fourstar skull and crossboards logo, while the shoe itself features a flexible vulcanized construction, tacky gum rubber outsole and a full length shock absorbing insole.

The Fourstar x Lakai Guy Hi is now available at Lakai retailers worldwide.

In effort to combat the (admittedly weaning) fat skate shoe epidemic, Lakai has released a high-quality selection of Lean Coda Hi and Manchester Select styles. “Premium leather in bold colors garner much attention for the Coda Hi while premium logo, tongue, heel and eye stay hits on the Manchester Select differentiate it from the all suede offerings of seasons past.” Two colorways of each model will be available come Holiday 2009. Following up on last summer’s Where The Wild Things Are collection, skate footwear label Lakai have whipped up two new limited edition shoes to commemorate the October 16th debut of the highly anticipated film. The release consists of a grey suede Guy Mariano Hi and a black and grey canvas Pico, both of which are marked by illustrated Wild Things eyes. Available October 1st, 2009 at Lakai dealers worldwide.

Today we can give you a look at the new Lakai Summer/Fall 2009 Footwear Collection. The brand as usual presents some great new styles, as well as strong colorways on their existing models. The collection pushed further into the lifestyle segment with some interesting packs. The limited edition Lean Series presents three lighter and slimmer sneakers. We also like as usual the line-up of the Telford and the limited edition Mo Knows Series, featuring solid colorways of the Manchester Select designed by Mike Mo.

Lakai has once again a nice line-up of limited edition footwear waiting for you as part of their Spring 2009 collection. This year the brand is celebrating their 10th anniversary and instead of going completely wild, they present a strong line-up of very classic looking skate footwear.

Also they dedicate a sneaker pack to Crailtap.com, consisting of the Howard Select Mid and the Koston LTD. The Recycled Program also continues this season with a Recycled Manchester.

In their “Japan Limited” collection, Lakai comes out with some of the best colorways of their footwear. The Telford mid top sneaker comes in a new white/red and white/gold colorway, both available now from Mita.

Lakai worked with Mita Sneakers from Japan on two strong colorways of their popular Telford model. It comes in white/blue/grey and in white/black/green, both featuring oestrich and patent leathers as accents. Overall they both keep a clean look.

Mita Sneakers will be releasing this Lakai Telford Pack on January 14th.

Just like many other US brands, also Lakai produces a special collection for the Japanese market that comes out with lots of interesting styles every season. Here we give you a look at the Manchester Select and the Carroll Select that have just come out at Mita.

The Lakai Manchester Select looks great. All red upper, white details – a super clean sneaker that you can wear with pretty much anything. About the Carroll Select we are less excited. Black patent leather upper and all-over design just seems like it was something that worked yesteryear.

Once again Lakai produces a couple of Japan exclusives this season. The All In One Pack is part of the Japanese collection and we give you a first look at the Telford from the pack.

The Lakai “All In One” Telford comes in all green. In terms of materials one finds suede, leather, as well as perforated leather on the upper. The entire All In One Pack will be coming in green color – soon we should be able to show you the other styles.

The sneaker is now available from Mita.
