We take a look at the Lakai Spring 2010 limited edition footwear. The Nip Tuck pack consists of two sneakers and the goal was to keep them as clean as possible. The other pack is dedicated to the World Cup and consists of 3 sneakers.

“The first choice, the Jericho, is an obvious one because of its already existing soccer aesthetic. We further accentuated that look by adding a characteristic soccer stitch pattern to the toe and then applied a colorway derived from Spain / Barcelona in honor of Jesus Fernandez. The Guy shoe embodies Guy’s heritage and carries the torch for Italy while the Lucas represents for France. All shoes are adorned with “Lakaifa” World Cup tongue labels and insole art.”

The second installment in the Lakai “My Way” contest took place this past July, giving everyday skaters the chance to create their very own colorway for Lakai’s popular Carroll Select. We caught a look at the winning in the flesh at Agenda. Primary colors abound over a mix of suede, both perforated and non. Hits retail for Fall 2010.

As a member of the Crailtap.com family, Lakai graces the online skate site with another signature sneaker. Seen at Agenda, the forthcoming Howard Mid looks very simliar to the website itself, with white bubbles over a teal backdrop. Magenta Crailtap logos are also seen throughout.

As part of their more premium Select collection, Lakai presents the Coda Hi with an all-over polka dot design. Exclusive to the Japanese market, the sneaker comes in a black and a white colorway, both featuring dots in multiple colors all over the upper and laces. The sneakers are now available from Mischief.

Lakai drops their popular Carroll Select in a wild black suede and zebra color up. Standard cushioning and all that ensures comfort and skatability. Spotted at Japan’s Cueve.

We get an early preview of the upcoming collaboration between FTC and Lakai. The two brands worked on the Lakai Carroll Low Select. The FTC logo has been embroidered on the tongue, matching the coloring around the ankle, while the rest of the sneaker stocks to classic black. Look out for a release soon.

Lakai has released their Carroll Select Flannel Pack. The mid top sneaker comes in four colorways, featuring black suede uppers mixed with flannel. The sneakers come with both black laces and laces matching the flannel colorway. The pack is exclusive to the Japanese market and now available from Shoe Planet.
