Edwin collaborates with traditional Swedish leather manufacturer Jofama on a leather jacket that is a nod to the pilots, the biker and the spirit of rebellion. “Aged buffalo hide sits atop blood red silk lining and vintage rivets and buttons and for those who want to get out of the plane and touch ground there’s a removable fur collar. It’s a romantic piece from a romantic time…”

Another collaboration has surfaced from the never ending, but soon to be over, Stussy
30th Anniversary product inundation. The culprits? Prankster Associates and their 1930s style leather car coat. Slightly wrinkled leather is decorated with a houndstooth-pattern lining and classically designed zippers.

Following the Vans collab, we can now show you another one of the stand out pieces from Deluxe’s forthcoming Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. Working with NYC-based leather goods manufacturer Schott, the Japanese label created their take on the iconic Perfecto Jacket. Basically they played with the pockets, gave it a red checked lining and added some nice zipper pulls. Amazing.

The Perfecto jacket has made somewhat of a resurgence lately, and while we’re speaking “comeback season”, I suppose Trussardi is worth a nod as well. Under the design direction of Milan Vukmirovic, the Italian brand’s 1911 line reinforces their folk spirit while evoking their century-old expertise in leather goods. This Perfecto is a prime example, in a perfectly distressed grey leather. Now available from colette. It’s real expensive.

We give you a more detailed look of one of the stand-out pieces of the Rocksmith Fall/Winter 2008 collection – the Slash Leather Jacket. The jacket features the signature paneling of the Rocksmith windbreaker, using leather strips in this case. Also it comes with a light fill and a quilted satin lining in popping colors. Depending on the weather situation you can use the zip off hood or not.

The Rocksmith Slash Leather Jacket comes in two colorways and is available at stores soon.

Parisian label Surface 2 Air and Justice got together to work on a small capsule collection. The result is a a limited edition series of 3 jackets (150 pieces), and 2 jeans, conceived and designed by Justice for Surface To Air. With a very exclusive distribution, the line will be available beginning June at the following locations: Surface To Air Paris, Surface To Air Brazil, Colette, Barneys, Lane Crawford, Isetan, Le Bon Marché, Paris Texas, Asylum, Le Shop, Incu. This fall the people from Goodfoot/Ransom/Stussy Toronto/etc (the list is getting longer every year) are introducing a new brand – Invisible Tailor. Where their Goodfoot collection is definitely streetwear and Ransom more subtle and mature, the Invisible Tailor collection exclusively works with leathers. The collection is for both men and women and consists of a line-up of high quality leather jackets. Via Matt George.

Besides the much anticipated release of the Neighborhod x Supreme capsule collection, the Japanese brand has one last drop of their own collection this month. This drop consists of some more leather jackets, with fur linings, quilted plaid shirts and also some beanies.
