We present you the Surface 2 Air Spring/Summer 2008 footwear collection. The Parisian label has expanded their styles this season and offers 7 different models in their new collection, including slip-ons, canvas and leather sneakers as well as lace-ups. Some are kept simple and are interesting because of the material, others come with graphic prints.
The footwear is now available in the Surface 2 Air online store and at Surface 2 Air flagship stores and retailers.

Cali Denim has made some nice moves since its inception last year. Especially the sneaker protector was welcomed by many. Now the Swedish denim brand presents their latest line-up, a re-work of their original raw denim and the Lux pack.
The new OG Raw denim comes with a slightly changed cut, further improving the sneaker cut at the bottom. Also they now come with piano laqueered rivets and buttons for a darker and cleaner look. The famous sneaker protector now comes as a gel print instead of cotton, improving the functionality significantly.
Also they present the Lux Pack, which comes in two versions. The Lux pack features a calf skin leather sneaker protector, which is not only nice for the looks, but also ensures that your denim does not break at the bottom. Other nice touches include an extra leather tag on the back pocket.
The OG Raw denim comes limited to 144 pieces. The Lux denim comes limited to 95 pieces in each colorway. These are available as of today at Caliroots and soon at other premium retailers around the globe.

We present you the Common Projects Spring 2008 collection. As usual the brand presents a solid line-up of sneakers. White, black and grey are the dominant colors and they present them in leather, suede and perforated leather this season. In terms of branding of course as usual only the gold serial number embossed on the side of the shoe.

We came across this nice accessory out of the Unrivaled Spring/Summer 2008 collection. The coin purse comes in leather and is available in 2 colorways. The logo is embossed into the leather on one side and on the other side you have a nice decoration with stones.

Living Mutants we introduced to you a little white ago, when they released a leather down jacket. The Berlin based brand is one of the few out of Europe to set the bar high and to present high-end streetwear, with a strive to only work with the best materials and people out there.
That is also no different with their latest pieces – the Living Mutants Force Team Model #1 Varsity Jacket. The premium reversible wool/leather varsity jacket comes in 100% heavyweight premium combed Merino Wool and sleeves made out of premium French matted cow nappa leather. The lining is a 100% cotton with camo screen print and also cuffs and collar come in 100% cotton. You can trust us when we tell you that this kind of quality you can maybe find on a Japanese brand, but nowhere else. The artwork of the jacket has been done by Studioanti & R .Weinberg. The jacket comes nicely wrapped in a suit bag.
It is great seeing Europe stepping it up lately. Brands such as Garbstore and Living Mutants, which are completely different from one another, but both set the standards very high, are finally putting Europe on the map in a proper way.
Expect a full line to come from Living Mutants soon. Until then you should already be excited about these special pieces. The varsity jacket is limited to 100 pieces and is now exclusively available through Am Firmament.

Freshjive has released some new New Era caps as part of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. There is a new black leather cap and two colorways of the LA cap. Both are now available at Reserve in LA.

A couple of days ago we showed you some first pictures of the upcoming 2nd collaboration between Wood Wood and Penfield, after the two brands had worked together for the first time this past A/W ‘07 season.
For A/W ‘08 they worked once again on a puffy jacket, the trademark style by Penfield, but made it this time in all leather. Keep your eyes open later this year for the drop!

We give you a preview of the Autumn/Winter 2008 Wood Wood x Penfield collaboration. The two brands worked for the first time together this past season.
Their new collaboration comes in all brown leather, puffy, and will keep you warm for sure. Expect the jacket to be released later this year. Via Selectism.

Sal Barbier will start introducing his own footwear line this year with his SLB23 brand. For now we have only seen t-shirts in the market, which have already been well received. The sneakers come in premium leathers, both low-top and hi-tops are in the line-up. They come in an array of classic colorways. In terms of style they remind us a little bit of Common Projects – simple but strong.

As part of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection, that we presented to you last week, Neighborhood also presents some sneakers. There is the Fury Wheels Hi, a hi-top canvas sneaker, coming in 4 color ways. And there is also the Fury Wheels Lo, which looks to be inspired by the John Varvatos for Converse range, as it also comes without laces and functions like a slip-on.
