When you get the opportunity to head to Miami, it is difficult to shy away from the city’s beautiful weather. It is even more difficult to shy away from an invite to Miami when you have the opportunity to wear test the latest Nike Lebron just days before the man himself wears it in the Heat’s first home playoff game against the Sixers. Nike offered a handful of media that opportunity this past weekend with the launch of the Nike Lebron 8 PS basketball shoe.

This weekend Nike is set to launch “The LeBrons” – a special pack of footwear from the Zoom LeBron Six collection that takes its inspiration from the four popular LeBrons characters featured in Nike commercials since 2006.

Designed to reflect the personalities of the four LeBrons characters, “Athlete LeBron”, “Business LeBron”, “Kid LeBron” and “Wise LeBron”, “The LeBrons” will be available individually at select retail locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York beginning Saturday, October 25, and in Cleveland on Sunday, October 26. Each of “The LeBrons” shoes incorporates materials and colors that represent the characters’ exuberant personalities. The sneakers also feature a photo of the character on the inside of the tongue as well as a silhouette of the character along the sock liner of the sneaker. The limited edition sneakers will be available for a suggested retail price of $160.

To celebrate the launch of “The LeBrons,” Nike will host The LEBRON JAMES BLOCK PARTY on Sunday, October 26, in Cleveland. More info on that, and details of the shoes after the jump.
