It has been quiete around Leilow and Fitted Hawaii, the stores and brands residing on the beautiful islands. Today we present to you a new collaboration between the two – the Beachcomber Pack.

“he Beachcomber pack features our collective Beachcomber New Era, a fusion of Jules’ bugged out artistic visions with FITTED’s more traditional methods, all with a modern approach. The cap features a print of black and white woven patterns with gray tones, while the inside features a silk lining of a map of the Hawaiian Islands which invokes a nostalgic warmth, citing the days of Don Ho, the Beachcomber and the lounge music era; incorporating both Leilow and FITTED’s logos. The underside of the visor features an embroidered hula girl, just an added extra touch that separates us from the rest. Coinciding with the cap is a white t-shirt with the same print found on the inside of the cap on the back, and the same hula girl on the front. To finish off this exquisite pack, we have a sticker sheet which integrates the map graphic.”

In celebration of Stussy’s 30th XXX anniversary, they have teamed up with some friends and family on several tee shirt designs. These tees will be released at Stussy Chapter Stores in five groups over the next five months. The first group features artwork on mens tees by Forty Percent, The Last Laugh, Firmament and Leilow along with artwork on womens tees by Hyde SK and Hellz. The release date is scheduled for Saturday, February 20th at Stussy.com and Stussy chapter stores.

Some first t-shirts from the Leilow Spring 2010 Collection have been released. As usual the Hawaii store keeps it simple and classic, mostly applying its trademark graphics. The line-up consists of several tees, all coming in black and white colorways.

Reminiscent of the World Tour project that took place for the brand’s XXV year celebration, Stussy reveals the first group of XXX anniversary tees. Collaborations with Japan’s 40% Against Rights (by Tet), Mr. Cartoon’s Last Laugh, Hawaii’s Leilow and Berlin’s Firmament are seen alongside girls tees by Hellz Bellz and Hyde SK. Certainly brings back some nostalgia from the days where streetwear felt so much more exciting. These shirts will be on sale Saturday, February 20th at Stussy Japan accounts.

Hawaii based brand and store Leilow presents their Fall 2009 offering. The collection consists of a series of t-shirts, as usual featuring subtle graphics. They also produced a video for their Fall 2009 Collection together with Aloha Fixed, their local fixed gear crew.

We get a look at the second part of a collaboration between Swagger and Leilow. The “Feathers” New Era Cap released in July, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Japanese brand. Here is now the “Buckles” New Era Cap, which also features a silk upper with design inspired by vintage ties. The lining comes in red silk and both brand logos are embroidered on the back.

Once again Stussy and Hawaii retailer/brand Leilow get together to collaborate on some product. This time they worked on a t-shirts, as well as on two caps. They present a mesh cap and ballcap. All three pieces feature both brand logos and a graphic, fusing both brand logos. Look out for a release on July 27th.

After an initial preview a couple of months ago, we can now give you a detailed look at the upcoming Swagger x Leilow New Era Cap. The cap comes with an all-over feature print on satin. Leilow is known for their animal print caps and this is a continuation of that series. Together they celebrate the 10th anniversary of Japanese brand Swagger. The back of the hat features both brand logos embroidered. The cap will be released on July 25th at Swagger stores in Japan.

Once again Jules Gayton from Leilow gets together with Medicom to collaborate on a Bearbrick toy as part of the 1/6 Project by the Japanese toy company. The Bearbrick features an all-over flower pattern, a graphic that we have seen before from the brand. On the back you can find a multicolor Leilow Hawaii logo print. The Bearbrick is now available in Japan.

Finally we get a look at the Leilow Spring 2009 Collection. As usual the Hawaiian brand presents something different – their graphics are in no way similar to any other brand out there and that’s what we appreciate so much about them. The collection is now available at Leilow on Hawaii.
