For summer 2009, Leroy Jenkins revisits some of the vintage patterns that first made the label a household name a few years back. However, this time around, instead of giving hoodies and fitteds their floral treatment, Leroy Jenkins shoots from the hip and brings us some great looking shorts and pants. The Leroy Jenkins x Estate LA fitted caps were always a nice alternative to the other offerings on the market, playing with lots of patterns and colors. That is no different this Spring/Summer season. They present a variety of new caps and they are now exclusively available online at Eastwest.

Leroy Jenkins recently worked with Gatorade on some product for a give-away. In typical LJ fashion, they created together with Estate LA their floral pattern fitted caps. The LJ logo was replaced with the Gatorade logo. Furthermore they produced two slogan t-shirts, each coming in three colorways. Both the Leroy Jenkins x Estate LA x Gatorade caps and the Leroy Jenkins x Gatorade t-shirts come in a special Gatorade give-away promotion box.

Leroy Jenkins made a name for itself producing one of a kind hoodies with vintage fabrics. The hoodies were selling out in no time about two years ago when they started the trend. In the mean time many others out there have copied the idea, and thus Leroy Jenkins has moved on, without loosing the appeal their very first pieces had already.

We present you their Fall/Holiday 2008 lookbook. They keep the classic aesthetic of vintage collegiate sports uniforms with the added touch of Leroy Jenkins limited edition patterned fabrics. The new collection consists of t-shirts, rugby shirts, pants and a lot more.

This morning we gave you a preview of the upcoming Leroy Jenkins x Estate LA fitted caps. Here now a look at another exciting project the brand was involved in.

They designed y 10 feet tall Gibson guitar statue, which is on tour right now. For the moment the guitar is at the Bloomingdales Store in NYC at 59th and Lexington. The guitar statue is part of their "The Beat Of Chic" campaign.

Estate LA continues their collaboration with Leroy Jenkins. As usual they sources some vintage fabrics for an upcoming series of caps. All in all two new caps will be released soon, featuring the Leroy Jenkins logo as a 3D embroidery on the front, just like we have seen before on their collaborative caps.

Last year Leroy Jenkins has released some of the most popular caps in collaboration with Estate LA. Their floral all-over patterns were new to the cap market. This year the brand developed something a little more subtle and moves to mostly leather in terms of fabrics. Floral patterns come embroidered tonal, as well as the 3D logo on the front. Confrontational yet influential graphics covered the Paris streets while the battle between students and riot police intensified.  This activist art and the overall climactic period were key inspirations for LeRoy Jenkins Spring/Summer 2008 collection.
Charismatic jackets, detailed knits, hats, shorts and pants represent the highly climactic time through the use of imagery and color.  Designers Ron Upperman and Upendo Taylor created the eclectic color palette during their latest trip to Paris. “As artists, we see LeRoy Jenkins as a form of expression. We design clothing for those who take action and, as we say, grind their own peppers,” said Upperman. Inspired by personal experiences, the original designs from this independent company are constantly revolutionizing the industry.
Joining forces this Spring, LeRoy Jenkins and Royal Elastics continue to evolve their collective efforts with their second footwear collaboration, the LeRoyal 2. This printed canvas and perforated-suede mid drops March 2008 with a limited run of 360 pairs, each embroidered with the individual pair number.

We present you here the Leroy Jenkins Holiday 2007 collection. The brand has had from day 1 their very own style, uncomparable to other brands out there. They made a name for themselves with all-over print flower hoodies with polka dot inner linings. Soon after lots of other brands introduced very similar product. Along with the trends this year, Leroy Jenkins also slowed down a little and now presents a much more subtle collection, at least compared to what we are used from them.
The Holiday 2007 collection consists of t-shirts, hoodies, crewneck sweaters, jackets, shoes, denim, caps and more. The Royal Elastics collaboration sneakers are part of it, as well as the already iconic Estate LA flower caps. The stand-out piece is for sure the M-65 jacket with satin lining.
