We preview the upcoming collaboration between Stussy and Levi’s for Summer 2011. The two brands worked on shirts and shorts, each coming in several colorways this season. A release date has not been announced.

Cycling blogger Prolly shares a look into the new Levi’s cycling collection, which includes jeans and a denim jacket, both of which employ a proprietary nanosphere treatment that keeps them stain and smell-free. The jeans also include a zipper stash pocket, an integrated U-lock holster, 3M lining on the cuff, a gusseted crotch and a higher-cut back. The jacket has back vents, 3 jersey pockets, a scooped tail, and reinforced accordion sleeves. “Let’s just say they covered all the bases and while denim might not be a traditional material for cycling-related apparel, these jackets are a huge improvement over riding in the standard jackets.”

The Levi’s Film Workshop is opening to the public this Sunday at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) within “Art in the Streets.” At the Film Workshop, the story of graffiti and street art will come to life through a series of collaborative film and video projects.

As part of this project, Levi’s will partner with MOCA on a limited edition Trucker Jacket series, featuring original artwork by 10 exhibiting artists from “Art in the Streets:” Andre, Chaz Bojorquez, CRASH, Keith Haring, KR, Neckface, Lady Pink, REVOK, Kenny Scharf and Shepard Fairey. The collection serves as a retrospective within the world of street art, as the jackets will be released in chronological order from when each artist began in the field.

Each of the ten jackets (produced in a run of 50 per design) is packaged in a special Levi’s x MOCA box. The first three jackets – by Chaz Bojorquez, Crash and Lady Pink will go on sale this Sunday at 11am at the MOCA (as soon as the Geffen Contemporary’s doors open). All proceeds from the sale of the jackets will benefit MOCA and its community programs.

The other day we presented already the white colorway of the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN x Levi’s Border Jacket. Here is now a look at the blue colorway that is also releasing this season. Expect it to release soon from vendor.

This is the kind of product that reminds us how much we love the Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN line. As part of their Levi’s Spring/Summer 2011 collaboration they present an Indigo Dyed 5 Pocket Sweat Pant. At first it looks like their latest denim, only at closer inspection you realize that it is a sweat pant. They are now available from vendor.

Hong Kong label CLOT keeps the collaborative train rolling with the Levi’s Nevada Jacket.

“Focused around the use of a distinct vintage wash, the Nevada Jacket is a play off the trademark trucker style Levi’s has become widely recognized for. Maintaining its core aesthetic in tact, the piece remains quite tame as opposed to past CLOT releases, strictly envisioned as a key historic style remade for modern times! Key highlights for this new design include burn marks and distressed details throughout the font, back and sleeves, along with intricate torn detailing around the collar and a gold CLOT patch on the rear yoke.”

While the recent CLOT Levi’s jeans were a bit much for our tastes, this one is right on the money. Available 1, 2011.

Junya Watanabe works over the classic Levi’s Trucker Jacket in black and white stripes for his latest Comme des Garcons MAN collection. Junya simply stays winning, though we’d suggest going tie-less with this one. Now on order at Ark.

CLOT will release their latest Levi’s collab on March 3, 2011. The WWIII Denim features various combat influences details such as gun and hand prints, burn hem, luminous paint marks, an RGB paint strip, savage tears, zipper side pockets and functional D-rings. There’s way too much going on here for our taste – in terms of both the concept and product itself – but we’re sure they’ll find their fans.

After already having previewed the Opening Ceremony x Levi’s Chambray Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, we came across this video produced for the launch of the line. Directed by DANIELS, the video is a nice showcase of the collaboration, playing with the theme of “things coming together”. Enjoy!

Today our favorite piece from the on-going collaboration between Levi’s Japan and Tommy Guerrero has been released. The mexican patterns that were placed on denim pants and jackets before, have now found their way onto flannel shirts. The shirts come in off-white, black and brown, featuring special shoulder patches and buttons. All in all some really nice shirts.
