Here comes an interesting new pack from New Balance, celebrating the 2012 Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon. The sneaker brand teamed up with Whiz from Japan, Invincible from Taiwan, Mita Sneakers from Japan, Limited Edt from Singapore and NPC from China, each creating a special colorway of the 574 running shoe for the Dragon Pack. While 4 colorways of the sneaker will release, these collaborations for now are only for display purposes, which is a real pity, because they are obviously much stronger than the actual release shoes.

Maybe New Balance changes their mind if you guys ask for a proper release. Check them all out after the jump.

In the next chapter of the adidas Originals Consortium Collaboration Series the brand gets together with Singapore’s Limited Edt Vault store, known for their supply of special sneakers for years now.

“Featuring a premium leather upper in a rich, night-sky blue with a squared turquoise cross-hatching that glows in the dark, this version of the inimitable Rod Laver is the perfect balance of old school classicism’s and new school leanings combining for a futuristic take on a heritage classic.

Branding is in the form of a combined Trefoil and ‘Vault’ handle motif that is presented both on the premium leather sock-liner and the embroidered leather patch on the tongue.”

The sneakers will release at Limited EDT Vault and No. 6 London in a limited run of 500 pairs.

After previewing the sneaker a while back via a short commercial, we can today show you detailed images of the latest collaboration between Limited EDT and New Balance. The Singapore retailer worked on the M577BST.

“With Turquoise pops, silver accents and a reflective tongue, the M577BST has an elegantly metallic feel, which is further accentuated by the quality of the materials – full grain croc-emboss and supple cracked chrome leathers. The shoe is also made in the UK at the New Balance factory in Flimby. Distribution is via select NB accounts worldwide, although the Singaporean release of 180 pairs will arrive in a special blue velvet jewel box, each numbered with a money bag, LE lace locks and a VIP access card to the Vault at their new Marina Bay Sands Shop. Scheduled for a Singaporean release on November 12th with a worldwide release to follow on Nov 20th.”

New Balance worked with Singapore sneaker store Limited Edt. Vault on the 577. Today they present a first teaser video of the collaboration, which will be released in the near future!

Kiks TYO will be kicking off their store collaboration series beginning of October. They got together with Limited Edt Singapore and with Capsule Toronto on a Yuko Ishida x Kiks TYO t-shirt. Each store added their own flavor to it. On the Limited Edt. t-shirt, Yuko Ishida is wearing the Limited Edt x New Balance sneaker that recently came out and on the Capsule t-shirt, Yuko Ishida is wearing a Capsule branded bikini.
