The Lunar Racer and Lunar Everyday from the Livestrong “Stages” Collection have just been released and now the Air Max 1 from the collection is slowly getting into stores. The AM1 features a black premium leather upper and mesh with yellow accents. The mid-sole is spotted an the Livestrong logo tag appears on the tongue.

The Nike Air Max 1 x Livestrong is now available at Mental Kicks.

The Lunar Everyday was specifically constructed for the Nike Sportswear Livestrong Collection. Designed with a Lunar bottom and a Nike Free Everyday upper, The Nike Lunar Everyday combines two of Nike’s most innovative technologies. The breathable upper mesh of this style is reinforced with synthetic overlays to add maximum support. No-sew tip construction provides less irritation while an internal heel counter and plush foam package deliver maximum comfort. Utilizing the innovation of Lunarlite foam, the shoe helps protects the foot on long distance runs, distributing the pressure patterns more evenly across the foot.

There are three colorways offered of the Lunar Everyday. We already showed you the black colorway a couple of days ago, here now a look at the two white colorways of the sneaker.

A little while ago we presented to you the Nike Sportswear Stages Livestrong footwear collection. The Lunar Racer and the Lunar Everyday are only days away from release, so we give you a more detailed look.

The Nike LunaRacer brings together two technologies – Flywire and Lunarlite foam. After its first debut in 2008, it returns now in the Livestrong signature colors. Designed with a Lunar bottom and a Nike Free Everyday upper, The Nike Lunar Everyday combines two of Nike’s most innovative technologies. The Nike Lunar Everyday was specifically constructed for the Nike Sportswear Livestrong branded product and proudly boasts the Livestrong colorways.

The premise behind the collection is have a collection of footwear that represents Lance Armstrong’s training regime, from running to cycling to his obsession with sneaker culture. Both sneakers will be released on April 11th. The Lunar Racer is exclusive to 21 Mercer in New York, the Lunar Everyday will be available at selected doors around the globe.

After showing some images of the sneakers on display at the event at the Montalban Theater this afternoon, we can now show you the complete line-up of sneakers and clothing, created as part of the “Stages” initiative by Nike in collaboration with Lance Armstrong and his Livestrong Foundation.

In terms of product they present the Lunar Livestrong Pack, consisting of two sneakers. Next comes the Evolution of Air, which is a pack consisting of three Air Max’s. The most interesting pack is probably the Greatest Hits pack, which consists of collaborations with So_Me, Mr. Cartoon and Futura. Last but not least there is The Cutters pack.

In terms of clothing they worked on a Livestrong Flywire Windrunner and on a Nike Sportswear M-65 Jacket. All product comes in the black/yellow colorway, known from LIvestrong.

““Stages” brings together close to 20 of the world’s most creative and diverse artists to create original works of art inspired by Armstrong and his mission to raise awareness of the global cancer burden. This unique project brings together the world of art, philanthropy and sport, in a way never before seen, to create artwork that represents the power of human potential in overcoming adversity.

Artists participating in the “Stages” tour include names such as Shepard Fairey, Tom Sachs, Barry McGee and Marc Newson. All artists will begin working on their pieces between now and July, leading to an exhibition at the world renowned Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery in Paris on July 16th, 2009.

To further support the fight against cancer, Nike is releasing two sportswear collections, all proceeds of which will be contributed to the LAF.  There will be a “Hope Rides Again” apparel and footwear collection and footwear “Greatest Hits” pack. Artists participating in the “Stages” tour include: Shepard Fairey, Tom Sachs, Geoff McFetridge, Raymond Pettibon, José Parlá, Ed Ruscha, Kaws, Christopher Wool, Dzine, Eric White,  Barry McGee, Kenny Scharf, Os Gêmeos, Marc Newson, Rosson Crow, Taryn Simon, JR, Yoshitomo Nara, Suejin Chung, Lari Pittman, Aaron Young and Jules de Balincourt.”

At the event in Los Angeles, Nike and Lance Armstrong did not only present his new Kaws and Barry McGee bikes, but also showed off some new Nike “Livestrong” sneakers, also designed by artists. We see an Air Force 1, a Dunk Hi and on the right a Footscape Woven. The Dunk Hi seems to have been designed by Futura, others by So_Me, Mr. Cartoon and other great artists. Whether or not these will actually be coming out, we cannot tell you to date, but we’ll keep you posted. Via Paul Mittelman.

Lance Armstrong called together some of todays most recognized artists to create custom designs for his Trek Madone roadbike. The bikes are part of the new “Stages” art campaign of the Livestrong foundation by Lance Armstrong.

Both Kaws and Barry McGree created custom designs of the Trek Madone. The Barry McGee bike will debut at the public anti-cancer ride in Hollywood today and then go on to be Lance’s bike in the Tour of California. The Kaws bike will first appear in the upcoming Milan-San Remo race. Both bikes were presented today in the Nike Montalban Theater space. Via Supertouch.
