Lodown will soon celebrate the release of their new issue 68. The new issue comes with an exclusive cover by artist Tom Sachs, as well as an interview with the artist. Furthermore the new issue features Anti Pop Consortium, Mungolian Jet Set, Kling/Zero 7, Lusine, Canyons, Leon Lace, Andrew Weatherall, Fenech-Soler, Sterling Laurence, Tom Sachs, Moon by Duncan Jones, Laurie Lipton, David Meskhi, Leif Podhajsky, Andy Gilmore, Hannes Schmid, Tami Uyama, Shay Kun, Jeremy Scott and much more.

Converse is hosting together with Lodown Magazine a BBQ event in Berlin tomorrow night. For the occasion they produced a Parra designed Chuck Taylor Hi, in line with the “Simply the Wurst” theme of the event. The Chuck Taylor Hi is limited to only 100 pairs and will be given out to friends and family.

The new issue of Lodown Magazine has been released. Around since ‘95, the Berlin based underground magazine presents in its 64th issue lots of interesting topics and people surrounding the topics of art, music, lifestyle and fashion. Hong Kongs premier skateshop, 8Five2, recently got together with Lodown Magazine from Germany and with Ali from Fiberops to create a set of skateboard decks. The Fiberops deck is a Kien Lieu pro deck. The Lodown deck has been designed by none other than Marok himself! They are now available at 8Five2.

Swedish denim brand Julian Red got together with Gravis Footwear to create a collection that brings together the strengths of each one of the brands. That meant for Julian Red to create the denim and for Gravis to create the sneakers. They chose the Gravis Lodown sneaker which has a dark yet romantic highlights in the form of a rose/asphalt pattern on the insole and heel. The upper of the sneaker is all white and the leather laces as well. The washed denim features an interesting reddish/pink weft.
