Once again Loopwheeler presents a very solid piece. From their Holiday 2009 Collection come the fleece varisty. From the images we cannot tell if the sleeves come in leather. Either way, it’s a beautiful piece. It comes in two colorways, with the grey one even featuring a multicolor front-zipper.

After just recently releasing their collaborative project with Medicom on a series of Bearbricks, Loopwheeler today gives a first more detailed look at their Steiff Teddy Bear, also part of their 10th anniversary celebrations. The classic Steiff teddy bear comes dressed up in a custom Loopwheeler hoodie. Look out for a release some time in November.

Loopwheeler and Beams Plus continue their ongoing collaborative effort with a couple of new pieces for Beams 10th Anniversary. Above you see a vest done in heavyweight heather grey fleece. An interesting option, as this cut is usually reserved for down filled garments. Features a couple of 10 Anniversary patches on the chest. Sweatpants in a chino-like silhouette were also produced and come in grey, black, or navy with a Loopwheeler x Beams Plus logo screened on the back pocket. Look out for a release later this year.

Finally we can give you a detailed look at the new Medicom x Loopwheeler Bearbrick Set. The set consists of a 1000%, 400% and 100% size. The 400% and 100% sizes feature a felt upper and the 1000% size comes with actual Loopwheeler fleece. Look out for a release soon.

The release of the much anticipated Loopwheeler Bearbricks is getting closer. The fleece specialists got together with Medicom to work on 100%, 400% and 1000% Bearbricks. They will be released with bear themed zip hoodies. A release is set for September 26th. Today we can already give you a look at the hoodies and some of the Bearbricks.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection NEXUSVII® got together with fleece label Loopwheeler to collaborate on a series of hoodies. The black and grey hoodies are kept very simple and they only added some nice leather details on the hood and on the zippers, giving the hoodies a nice premium upgrade. Furthermore the brand presents their new antique wallets. The wallets come in black and brown and have a nice worn in look to themselves. The hoodies and wallets are now available at L’Intrus.

Last year German-based plush toy company Steiff released a collaborative teddy bear with legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Now they present another high-profile release with Japanese cotton masters, Loopwheeler. Well known for their recent work with Nike Sportswear, Loopwheeler manufactured a miniature hoody complete with elastic cuffs, metal zipper, chest patch and screenprinting. Denim overalls and canvas sneakers are also in the works for a final release. The patch was created with a Germany meets Japan motif – paying homage to the global nature of the collaboration. The fleece used for all NSW Loopwheeler products—is knitted on the brand’s rotating looms through a process that holds its heritage as close as Nike holds its own. The yarn on the loopwheel never comes under tension, resulting in a relaxed fabric that is supremely soft. Under the watchful eye of Loopwheeler’s craftsmen, a mere handful of Loopwheeler fleece garments can be made from the material produced each day. After the fleece is hand-cut and flat-lock stitched to insure comfort and durability, the results are nearly impossible to match.

The Fall 2009 NSW Loopwheeler collection draws inspiration from the concept of rivalry—an element inherent in sport. Each NSW collection Loopwheeler garment comes in classic sport colorways and is adorned with a crest highlighting either the Loopwheeler Bears of Japan or the Nike Sportswear Beavers of Beaverton. Adding to the iconography, Loopwheeler founder Satoshi Suzuki and the Nike Sportswear design team also chose numbers to express ideals close to each team. The number 10 was given to the Beaverton Beavers to represent the playmaker, a creative force that defines something new for the future. The number 24 adorns the Loopwheeler crest and represents the number of revolutions per minute that one loopwheel machine can complete.

The Nike Sportswear Fall/Holiday 2009 Loopwheeler Collection consists of hoodies, crewneck sweaters, varsity jackets, pants, as well as t-shirts.

We get a first look at the upcoming Loopwheeler x Medicom Bearbrick. We are guessing that it will be a 1000% Bearbrick, but it could also be a 400% version of the toy. The toy features the signature Loopwheeler fabric all over the upper. The Bearbrick is on display at the Medicom Toy Exhibitin 2009.

Nike Sportswear continues its strong relationship with Loopwheeler to release two of its most iconic products in the LIVESTRONG colorways – the Loopwheeler AW77 Hoody and the Loopwheeler Tee. The pieces come in the trademark grey French terry cotton from Japanese brand Loopwheeler and feature graphic prints in the signature yellow from Livestrong.
