In time for winter Japanese brand Loopwheeler has worked with Harris Tweed on their signature zip-up hoodie. The hoodie comes in a mix of grey fleece and original Harris Tweed fabric, with the Tweed being placed on the pockets and used as elbow patches.

Nike Sportswear continues to work with Japanese premium sweatshirt makers Loopwheeler. For Holiday 2010 they presents as part of their premium NSW offering the “Hakone Ekiden” Collection. Inspired by the iconic Japanese marathon, held every year between Tokyo and Hakone, the collection consists of crewneck sweaters, t-shirts and coach jackets this season. Each piece comes in a series of colorways and is now available at retailers, including Tres Bien and The Good Will Out.

From the NEXUS 7 Fall/Winter 2010 Collection we present the Button Hoody, a collaboration with Loopwheeler. What can we say? The Japanese brand just manages to do things different than everybody else, add more details, change fabrics and make things appear much more premium than most other brands. The same holds true for this new button hoodie, which comes in a beautiful fabric with a very unique colorway and solid minimalist details. The hoodie has released today at Nexus 7 retailers.

Peanuts is celebrating its 60th anniversary. For the occasion they present a series of interesting product collaborations, including clothing with Lacoste, Loopwheeler, Hysteric Glamour and Original Fake. Also they worked on a sneaker with Converse, the Chuck Taylor All Star. Other collaborators include Mulberry, Medicom on Bearbricks and Longchamp on a bag. The entire range of product will soon be available from Dover Street Market.

Parisian brand Kitsuné has worked with Japanese brand Loopwheeler on a classic heavy jersey sweater. The sweater comes in a grey colorway with a soft print, reading “Je Suis Allé Au College Kitsuné”. It is now available from Tres Bien.

Up next in the collaborations section of the new Original Fake Fall/Winter 2010 Collection are works with Loopwheeler on a hoodie and with New Era on two wool 5 panel caps, both featuring the Kaws “X” on the front in the form of a patch.

By now most of you know about the on-going collaboration between Nike Sportswear and Loopwheeler on hoodies, sweaters and more. For Summer 2010 they worked on a beautiful bke hoodie, which comes in three colorways with numerous pockets on the back.

Original Fake is the latest brand to work with Japanese jersey experts Loopwheeler. Together they created a zip-up hoodie. It comes with a small tag embroidered on the chest, the Kaws X Eyes on the cuffs and a nice little leather detail on the zipper. The hoodie will be available in two colorways this season.

Loopwheeler has produced a fantastic new camouflage all-over hoodie for Japanese retailer Beams+. The hoodie features a custom camouflage pattern, which includes the store’s name written out. Also it comes with a fleece lining, making it extra warm for the season.

Once again Loopwheeler presents a very solid piece. From their Holiday 2009 Collection come the fleece varisty. From the images we cannot tell if the sleeves come in leather. Either way, it’s a beautiful piece. It comes in two colorways, with the grey one even featuring a multicolor front-zipper.
