As part of their Holiday 2011 Collection A Bathing Ape has gotten together with Mackintosh to work on a classic coat. It comes in beige and navy, featuring subtle branding of both brands, a removable hood and a Bape check lining detail. The coats are now available from Bape stores.

A great new fishtail parka has arrived at Nitty Gritty. The hooded army green Kerrera Parka comes in a water repellant coated cotton outer featuring a well sized mohair lined hood with drawstring, drawstring waist and hem, two buttoned flap storm pockets at sides, buttoned cuffs and removable leopard pattern wool lining. We get a first look at the upcoming collaboration between A Bathing Ape and Mackintosh. Together they present a hooded water repellent jacket in a beige colorway with Bapecheck pattern details. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

Today, Converse announced the launch of the Mackintosh for Converse Jack Purcell Johnny shoe and Mac jacket. The DNA of the classic sneaker has been nicely fused with materials and aesthetics of the Mackintosh brand.

There are three versions of the Jack Purcell Johnny shoe, each with classic Jack detailing with white rubber soles and a signature navy toe-smile. The shoes include a version in navy blue with a lime interior, a version in putty with a chocolate interior, and a version with dark olive and a deep plum interior. Clean, monochromatic laces match the shoes’ upper but each also comes with a spare lace in the contrast color.

Just in time for April showers, the collection will launch April 22, 2011 in the UK and on May 1 in the US at Union in Los Angeles.

Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN continues their work with Scottish rainwear makers Mackintosh on an authentic Scottish-made Mackintosh jacket for spring. Water and wind treated, the cream colored coat features a zip-up and button placket closure with horn toggles. Further details include a bubble camo inner, corduroy collar and an adjustable hood. Now in store at Union LA.

Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN continues to work with British brand Mackintosh on some quality outerwear. As part of their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection they present the Plain Parka in khaki, the Light Navy Coat and two refreshing colorways of the Hooded Parka. All four jackets are now in stock at Tres Bien (storeguide).

You have to hand it to Kitsuné. The French brand has done something interesting with their Voyager collection. They have convinced Mackintosh to allow them to “rework” three classic trench coats for Autumn 2010. Three initial cities – Tokyo, Paris, and London – are all represented with through three individual trench coats. They have “integrated into each item some very special pockets: one for your passport, one that enables you to catch your pen easily, a chest pocket which is the perfect size for your flight ticket or your immigration documents. Of course each item is designed in the finest rain coat material true to Mackintosh with a Kitsuné touch.

Junya Watanabe also worked with Mackintosh as part of his Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The Modscoat comes in black and in khaki and is a functional, yet not over-equipped, winter jacket. It is now available from Ark.

Following up on a first preview the other day, we can show you all three jackets from the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons x Mackintosh Spring/Summer 2010 Capsule Collection. They present a trench coat and a hooded jacket as part of the collaboration. The velvet collar on the trench coat is really nice. The jackets are now available at colette.
