Erin Magee-Albino presents her MadeMe Fall 2009 Collection, entitled “Tough Love”. MadeMe’s handsome Fall 2009 collection, Tough Love is inspired by androgyny and the idea to move society forward through challenging what is conventionally sexy. Using traditionally masculine silhouettes with feminine fits and New York street sensibility, Tough Love is a collection defined by aesthetic and attitude.

The Fall 2009 collection introduces a vintage denim vest, deconstructed and embellished with the MadeMe treatment, as well as a striking rose pattern. The roses, symbolizing confident beauty, are used within the entire collection and create a unique feeling throughout the line depending upon the garment. The signature leather jacket exudes edge, while the leggings use the same pattern with a softer, more delicate feel .The rose adorned fleece and jersey crew necks offer a regal and collegiate interpretation. Regardless of the fabrication or feel, all pieces in the MadeMe Fall 2009 collection embody beauty and rebellion.

After selling out two seasons and fielding overwhelming requests for MadeMe’s signature leather jackets, MadeMe creator and designer Erin Magee is giving fashion fans a chance to pre-order and preview eye-catching pieces from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection with “Mes Amies.”

Erin teamed up with esteemed photographer Brooke Nipar to capture the essence of the MadeMe brand in “Mes Amies,” meaning “my friends” in French. First conceptualizing the project, the designer then brought on friends Rose Garcia (stylist, DJ, blogger) and Cedric Haughton (Third Floor New York) to assist in the direction of the shoot. To exhibit a variety of pieces from Erin’s past and current collections, she enlisted the help of her best friends, singers Nicole and Natalie of Nina Sky, and some of Los Angeles’ and New York City’s most talked about creative personalities.

The new MadeMe Fall/Winter 2008 collection will be releasing soon. Designer Erin Magee presents yet another interesting collection for a market that is desperately in need for some fresh clothing. Have a look at the video below to get an idea how the new collection looks like.

The MadeMe Spring 2008 collection has been released today. The collection continues in its 80’s spirit and presents a great selection of leggings, denim pants/shorts, jackets, hoodies and t-shirts. The collection also has a collaboration leggings with Peggy Noland from Kansas City.

MadeMe is one of the youngest womens brands to enter the market. The current Fall/Winter 2007 season was their first and they have already had quite some impact. The brand offers an innovative mix of streetwear and high end fashion, something that was clearly missing in the market.
The Spring 2008 collection is also looking very strong. We can only show you a few pieces so far, but they can already tell that there are good things to come. While we like to put MadeMe from the start in the same category as MOB and Hellz Bellz, all three brands have their very own distinct style.
