Over the weekend we gave you an exclusive first look at the white colorway of the upcoming Crooks & Castles x Vans sneakers. Here another preview of some Crooks jewelry. At this point we are not sure whether this will release to retailers or only be available at their flagship store. Via Caliroots.

In4mation has produced some great collaborations in the past, and based on what we’ve seen at Magic, the present and future are well accounted for as well. This G-Shock is the second from In4mation. Purple body with turquoise accents, the watch is certainly an eye catcher.

We also took a look at the Rocksmith Spring 2009 collection, a brand inspired by both Tokyo and New York City. The new collection consists of a nice line-up of New Era caps, windrunner jackets and also sneakers. As usual the brand utilizes strong colors, especially the ones that one does not see too often from other brands.

From Helsinki, Finland, CTRL builds on bold prints and vintage skate flavor for its Spring 2009 collection. Denim shorts, graphic tees and a knee length camo coat are among the garments. There are also some skate decks and limited edition wheels coming.

As we’ve come to expect, Upper Playground continues to promote the 59fifty cap as an infinitely explorable canvas. Fall 2008 sees some excellent examples of this charge. Among them, the pink number is perhaps the most eye catching.
Basketball takes center stage in Upper Playground’s most intriguing garments for Fall 2008. Dunking a skull, on a tee. Dunking a ball, on a zip hoody. Some strong text driven logo fleeces are also on the cards.

Sailing the seven seas provides inspiration for King Stampede’s spring 2009 line. Whether drawing on heavy weight slickers for head wear, or looking critically at vintage navy uniforms for shirting options, the maritime flare of the collection is easily expressed. The shirt is a highlight, with paneled construction for durability.

The Magic Tradeshow in Las Vegas, that we reported from twice a year has made some interesting changes to the upcoming August ‘08 edition of the show. They introduce the new S.L.A.T.E. Show.
"MAGIC has finally unveiled its much-rumored South Hall addition: S.L.A.T.E. (whose acronym stands for select, lifestyle, apparel, trends, emergence) will debut during the August installment of MAGIC’s Las Vegas marketplace. The show will include about 200 brands in a 40,000-square-foot space in the lower South Hall. MAGIC is expected to release the news today.

Although MAGIC’s catchall corporate description calls S.L.A.T.E. a “showcase for established and emerging skate, surf and street lifestyle brands,” the show’s featured exhibitors are veterans of the progressive streetwear section that had been carved out in the upper South Hall in recent seasons. Several established streetwear brands like Stussy and Obey will anchor the show with large custom booths, but most of the show floor will consist of turnkey booths, ranging in size from 10×10 to 20×20. Other vendors signed on to participate in S.L.A.T.E. include Addict, Undfted, 10Deep, Hot Air and Alpinestars. Many former United Trade Show exhibitors, including Grn Apple Tree and Ctrl, have also signed on for S.L.A.T.E., since that show has opted out of this Las Vegas men’s market season." Via DNR.

This week we have seen hands down the best tradeshow give-aways in a while. Crooks & Castles presented their own wine and gave that out to friends and family and the other thing that you want to have is the 10.Deep Magic Survival Kit.
They made special bags which come with a t-shirt and the survival kit, which consists of chewing gum, tooth brush, wayfarer sunglasses, condom and a lighter!

Continuing our live coverage from Las Vegas, we visit with Hysteric Glamour of Japan who is showing their Summer 08 collection at UNITED Tradeshow.

An established core brand in Japan, Hysteric Glamour is now making a push into the United States market with an offering that is sure to please.
With a full line, including t-shirts with Kurt Cobain photography, denim, and their unique cut hoodies, the HG collection looks to be available for Summer 08.

PUMA and No Mas team up again with 4 new versions of the PUMA X No Mas First Rounds.  These limited edition hi tops further celebrate last year’s exhibition “The Lottery”,   which explored the ups and downs of Professional Basketball’s draft.  The new executions take inspiration from the teams that have been impacted by it’s unpredictability.  
The first is an LA inspired shoe that draws from the strong legacy of the Lakers. With high lights including black leather with purple embroidered lottery balls, three sets of laces with “No Mas” on the lace tips and the outsole. A very limited number of pairs will drop exclusively at UNDEFEATED Las Vegas, at noon, on the 13th. Just in time for those who will be attending MAGIC.
